See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!
Heiji Hattori || Detective Conan
O-oiii!! Whoever ya are that kidnapped me, ya did it wrong! You're supposed ta keep your victims captive, not dump 'em in some crappy pirate-themed tourist trap! Come out here an' face justice!!
no subject
You are being held captive. Just not in the sense that you think.
no subject
What do ya mean, Kudo? They got you too?

Calm down, you won't get any answers like that.
My work here is done then!
[ He has every right to be irritable about this, really. This is a completely unprofessional kidnapping. They don't even have the decency to leave him even the tiniest of clues on how to solve this case. ]
I take it ya got answers, then?

[He's been around a pint sized female detective. He's picked up a few things.]
It depends on the question.

Re: Heiji Hattori || Detective Conan
First he tenses at the volume of the yelling, it's familiar but not quite the right tone he's used to. He takes a deep breath it's some angry confused kid not some saboteur.
]
Getting plucked out of time and space normally does involve getting dumped on some random street from my experience. Least it's not in the middle of some battle be happy about that. You speak really good English kid.
no subject
Time an' space. Yeah, right. [ His eyes narrow. That last bit didn't make any sense, but he switches over to English, just to be sure. ] I wasn't speaking English when I woke up, though I am now. You heard my Japanese as English?
no subject
Not till I got closer but you might not have been coherent in any language. Never did get around to learning Japanese.

It's quite the real pirate town, though~
no subject
There haven't been pirates like this since th' 1860s, but this kinda pirate setup is commonly used for entertainment. Leads me to conclude that this is some sort o' amusement park. You got somethin ta prove otherwise?
no subject
Amusemnet park? You're free to think it is, but then you'd be wrong. For example, try finding a way out.

[ He's feeling irritable, not just because of the abduction. There's no pattern he can easily pick up, no motive and certainly no clues on the crime scene. Heiji hates operating on such little information. ]
no subject
[She shrugs slightly, she seemed awfully calm about being in the same situation.]

[There is a ... skull. Cackling at you, Heiji. Someone has set him on the edge of the fountain and he is pleased with his vantage point of the confused arrivals.]
Justice is a meaningless word, to one so powerful as myself!
((ooc: Murray is just a skull and prone to getting picked up and carted around in canon. Feel free to investigate him thoroughly!))
omg are you murray from monkey island ILU
Not bad, not bad! Pretty realistic for a prop!
Is there any other kind of Murray?
Unhand me this instant, you feckless peasant!
Who do you think you're calling a prop!?
Murray is the best Murray, it's true
Best or worst? Hard to tell.
Six of one, half a dozen of the other!

lol heiji pls
[ Says the Raccoon Thief. He's so amused. Will you calm down, dude? ]
you can't stop the shouting
No, it would not make me feel better! NOT BEIN' KIDNAPPED would make me feel better!
...Nice costume, though.
no subject
[ Pffff, dude. He's just gonna lean on his cane now, yup. And maybe wonder if you've got any loot stashed on you he can pickpocket-- ]
Not being kidnapped would make all sorts of people happy, I wager, but if you're gonna go for realism, properly tying yourself up is DEFINITELY the only way to fully cement the "ghosty pirate kidnapping experience".
