Both would garner his interest for different reasons, although there's a chance for conflict with the latter since the Outsider is... definitely not what you'd call loyal by any stretch of the imagination. A few weeks, maybe months, and he'd want to move on. I think interaction with either/both crew sounds hilarious, though! I'm down.
