♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

You're very welcome, and sort of. Personally, I find my sister's name, Alethesea, a little bit more of a mouthful.

[ She giggles after recalling her name before shaking her head. ]

I did, and I still technically do. I'm the Knight-Commander of Stormwind, my kingdom and the capital of the Alliance, one of the two factions around Azeroth, my world. The other is the Horde.

[ Interestingly enough, she doesn't seem to hold any malice in her eyes or voice when she says that word. She doesn't agree with the Alliance-Horde war and thinks Azeroth would be better off without their squabbling. ]

[Because he likes her? He barely knows-, no, he doesn't know her!]

Go? Wait, go where?

[She really hates being so confused and lost, but she can't even bring herself to get angry or annoyed. Just overwhelmed.]

On an adventure. [where else would they go?]

[She squealed and turned an even brighter hue. This guy was just playing a game with her right? She knew someone that made a habit of flirting with all the girls in school. Haruka tried to calm herself down]

Mm.... [........................................................PAUSE............................................] My work.

[It was so quiet you could only hear the lapping of the water against the hull for a few more moments]

I'm working on a song.

Oh, you have a sister? Is she older or younger than you?

[Her eyes brighten at the mention of a sister, remembering her own.]

So your world is divided in factions besides kingdoms? Are there no neutral realms that belong to no faction?

[Scrooge can be blinded by potential profits sometimes but underneath it all he's a decent sort. She should be fine]

It would be in their best interest to. [He instinctively drew his arms back as she mentioned that morbid little subject about cleaning the blood off of her shield] Uh- yes.. I imagine that's most... inconvenient... [There was no way to phrase that appropriately. He wasn't in the habit of killing anyone.. so hopefully those were just surface wounds? Cough]

And I'm Scrooge McDuck of McDuck Industries. [The name could mean something here, though it hadn't rung a bell to anyone he'd met so far] Likewise.

She's so good at dealing with shameless flirts

[The older man gave no indication he was only teasing. He was though, she was a little too young for him!

She was cute though, with wonderfully inexperienced embarrassed reactions so the sport was difficult to abandon.]

A melody of the heart to bring joy to the crew on this long journey? You are very thoughtful fräulein.

[The whole situation of being in another world and around people, talking ducks included, is something Elsa hasn't gotten used to, yet. And so she tends to leave in her wake a soft trail of ice which usually doesn't last for long under a warm weather. And it does nothing but serve for herself a grim reminder of how dangerous she may be for others.

She sighs, relieved to see him climb back to the ship of common sense, feeling bad for ruining his happiness but knowing that it's for the better. She nods at his question, locked in her room, day after day, she had developed even more a love for study and details. The marks hadn't gone unnoticed by her, and she had memorized them even before they knew where they directed to.]

I did, and I remember them well.

Maybe we could build some traps on the way here or place fake marks, in case anyone comes while we're away, to keep them away from the treasure. That way when we return with a bigger and sturdier ship everything we left behind would still be waiting for you, Mister Mcduck.

[She really can't follow.]

Wait, are you sure that's a good idea? I mean, returning to your ship with a stranger to join the crew, just like that. A person of whom you don't even know the name! Would your captain and companions accept such a thing?

[Please, no one in their right mind would.]

haha I'm the captain so it's not a problem. [that's why its his crew and not anyone elses] And I guess I could learn your name first. I'm Monkey D. Luffy, the man whose going to be King of the Pirates.

[Who allowed such a kid brained man be a captain? Is he for real or is he playing a make-believe game and getting too much into the role?]

I'm Elsa... Do pirates have kings?

Younger. I have two sisters and a brother... along with a husband and seven children.

[ Even if two were adopted, she loved her family unconditionally. ]

Yes, and there are. Thank the Light that they're there, otherwise the Alliance and the Horde might not have a third set of eyes in to the problems around Azeroth.

[Had it been several years earlier, it would be safe to say this conversation would have had a very different turn. On his part, at least, he'd have been much less polite, and probably would've tried to loot the ship's cargo for his own gain.

While he hadn't expected to have such a friendly chat, it turned out for the best. Not that he'd admit it out loud.

Nevermind the fact that where he's from, he's not exactly trusted himself.] Not a problem. For a laguz you've never seen, I can say you've handled yourself quite well.

[This guy, on the other hand...] King Naesala of Kilvas. [And then a pause, because the answer was just an automatic response.] Er, just Naesala. There's not really anything for me to be king of, here.

If by good you mean terrible.

[He was doing such a good job of pretending. She looked aside... hoping to see someone else on deck that might join them and save her from the awkward]

[She had no idea she was only serving to encourage him]

A melody of the heart? [The way he'd phrased it was so beautiful that she nearly forgot that she was supposed to be leery of him] I wouldn't... put it like that. [Modesty cometh] I.. well... I do want to create music that will make people happy but...

[Stop complimenting me. I don't know what to do!]

Elsa. [he'll remember that] Yeah. I have to find the one piece first but I can't find it here. I have to go home for that.

[ War happens so frequently in Azeroth for Cairistiona that she's kind of desensitized to it. However, that doesn't mean she can't at least censor herself to those who aren't as familiar to it as she is. ]

My apologies, sir. I'll remember to not do that again. [ She smiled and gave an apologetic bow.

At his name, she straightens up and remains ever so perky. ]

A pleasure, Mr. McDuck! If we're using titles, I'm Knight-Commander of Stormwind.

["Go home", Elsa smiles at that.]

So you ar looking for a way back home... I'm sorry but then I definitively can't go with you. I have nowhere to go, no wish to return where I come from.

[She had already decided to live in solitude before being brought here, be it in the mountain or in another world makes little difference for her.]

If I went with you and you found your way home, I wouldn't be able to sail the ship back here by myself.

It's okay. We can drop you off somewhere before we go. [it's no problem. It's the adventure that's important] Or maybe you can come with us if you want.

[he hopes she does. But maybe she'll find something really great here, too. But she won't find anything great up here all alone so he's not going to let it go]

[It was also lucky for her, that Scrooge wasn't always the most observant sort. Yes, he could be but he'd never thought to look for a trail of ice in this weather and therefore he'd never looked her way when the crystals might have been apparent. He was focused on the prize, the goal of their expedition which worked in her favor]

[His mood swiftly picked back up]

[Emitting another yet slightly sinister sounding chortle he nodded his approval]

Well aren't you a clever one~ [The compliment was a genuine one. She was making this trip an easy one for him]

It's like you read my mind. I was thinking of having those marks removed, completely. We'll mark the trail alright.. but with a method of our own, and in a location those pirates won't be looking for. Then we'll replicate their markings in some of the other caves. They won't know which way is up!

[Steel-colored eyes calmly rest on the stranger as he silently studies him for a moment.

[She stifles a laugh at the comment of her handling herself decently.]

Laguz may be a species I've never seen before, but in my kingdom we had trolls. A species different from beorcs yet similar, with intellect on par, if not higher than us. Their bodies are hard like stone and most of the time they appear as mere rocks to us. They are also very wise and have helped us when it was needed, I owe to them my sister's life. So different species from beorcs aren't really something I'm not used to.

[And, in fact, what she's used to is something that makes her respect those different species rather than fear them. Even if she had never seen again the trolls, they had caused quite an impression, and she had never forgot them, their help and their warnings.]

Maybe there's nothing here. But you will still be king when you return, and so even if you're not there it's only proper to acknowledge your status. It's a pleasure to meet you, King Naesala.

[She bows, this time it's more accentuated as it's proper to do when meeting members of the royalty. She's not queen of anything anymore, she abandoned Arendelle because she couldn't stay there, she was dangerous to them. But she doubts that's the case for him, and thus she respects the title and acknowledges it as it's appropriate.]

[War is a nasty business, one he's glad not to have to participate in. He just has his company make the submarines, and the naval ships so the armed forces can complete their missions.]

[She sure was a polite young lass. Huey, Dewey, and Louie could learn a thing or two about manners from her... if they were only here]

You're a knight-commander? [Scrooge rolled his r's a bit more prominently emphasizing his surprise. She did have the gear for it and the skill but she didn't look like a hardened type you'd associate with such a position.]

Yes, I did actually. ^_^

[Chloe is a practiced master at the art of a compliment. It's difficult to just turn off... unless there was a mission-related reason why he should.]

You were searching for inspiration in the stars?

[His eyes drifted away from her and up into the sky above. It was a beautiful sight. The stars almost twinkled on this bright cloudless evening.]

There are few better places to look for it than the heavens.

Come with you? You mean to your world?

[She laughs softly in disbelief, that probably would be impossible. And it would be dangerous either way.

Though that he offers to leave here somewhere before leaving makes it really tempting. But no, it could be dangerous.]

I wouldn't want to harm you or your crew when my powers become uncontrollable, Luffy. You saw it before, just by getting a bit scared a snow storm raises, if I ever panicked while on the ship... Or if I ever hit any of you with my magic... I could kill you.

Hmm. Well we're all pretty strong. So I don't think it'll be a problem but...

[he thinks about this]

We'll just have to make sure you don't panic. We have a really great crew. Oh, Brook is a skeleton but he's a great guy and Sanji's a little weird but he really likes ladies. [what else] Oh and Celestia can do magic stuff so maybe if you get scared she can help.

[nod.] So together it'll be easy!
