Nuh-uh, all Tao has is this book thing. It wasn't very tasty, meow.

[ She removes the slightly chewed-on journal they all share from within her coat (how does she keep things in there? No one knows) and waves it around at Ragna before stuffing it back where it came from. ]

C'mooooon, good guy. You can't hold out on Tao forever, you know~

[Leliana was used to performing both with and without music. While usually it had been for underhanded or useful motives, this was simply for the song. And the request. How she had gotten up to sing in the tavern may have been in part to the person that she was talking to but the general emotions of the tavern was so down, she had to do something.

She sang the first song that came to her mind. She used it in a recent battle to motivate her teammates, but with a different tempo and a slight change in the melody, it could easily be used as just an uplifting song. Still, she changed a few words just to make sure.]

You know that we will win this fight!

Espio the Chameleon | Sonic the Comic

[Okay I already put my app in but whatever, okay?

Espio has wound up in the town square, a little bewildered but not looking too shocked. He's more concerned with where everyone has gone, and why all these people are human.]

Guys?

Where the heck is this, anyway?

[Looks around again, still confused, but he looks more annoyed than anything else.]

[Naruto is pretty confused. One minute he was in the middle of some pretty intense battles, the next he was waking up somewhere entirely unfamiliar. He scratches his head and looks around with a bit of a frown. Is he dreaming? It isn't really the time for it, is it?

The next thing he knows, out of nowhere someone is grabbing onto his arm and he turns with a bit of a start.]

Ah!

[It's a woman who's a bit older than him and he blinks at her question.]

I'm not sure where to eat, I just started dreaming this place. Isn't this the kind of thing my dreams would know already?

[There's something disturbing about waking up on his back in a strange place when minutes ago he was in the middle of a fight. He didn't do something stupid like die did he?

Naruto sits up and begins poking around at himself. He doesn't appear to be injured or harmed in any way, just lost. Huh.

A journal is in his jacket pocket which he's pretty sure wasn't there before and he leafs through it, staring at the note. What was this, some kind of illusion?

He presses his hands into a seal and mutters 'dispell' a few times, in the hopes he escapes this strange dream.]

[Alright, so he's found a different world. That's completely different. Nothing seemed familiar to him, nor Kurama and he frowns as his stomach growls. Is there a ramen stall on Isla Empieza?

There's only one reason why he can think of that he would go to another world for - Sasuke must be here. Anyone he encounters will be asked if Sasuke is around. Subtly.

He's wandering around town, not really paying attention to more than his growling stomach.]

Dreaming, huh? You have a lot of lucid dreams?

[Now, she's used to dreams being interactive. Somewhat real, but this... This is a whole new level of weird. Nothing like what she's ever experienced before. Because those are conversations, not entirely new places.

But... Maybe this is... some really weird version of a dream? Something she's never experienced before.]

No, I don't think so, but I could be trapped in someone's illusion.

[He glances at her.]

You don't seem like you're trying to attack me, so it's probably not an illusion. I was...

[He looks around.]

Well I don't know! [He gives a sheepish laugh.]

Oh, it was like that, was it? If Surana had been hoping to discomfit Hawke by flirting with him, he was in for some disappointment, because there were few things Hawke liked better than a bit of indiscriminate flirting.

"Elves are pretty enough already. If they started growing beards that would make things incredibly unfair for the rest of us, don't you think?"

[Hey..... Hey blondie, would you mind not moving quite so quickly? If only because you had a sleeping pink and purple cat on your chest.

No, Boris does not being in cat form as much you may think. And no, he cannot think of a way to change back.

And yes, you were much better to sleep on than the ground. You should be honored to be his pillow during that brief moment.

Urgh, the humanity of being rolled off of his pillow.]

[Prior to getting up, Naruto hadn't noticed the cat on his chest, but once he's done fiddling with his journal, he can't help but notice it's still there, staring at him.

That's a little weird. Hoping it's not a cat like Taro, he holds out his hand to be sniffed.]

Nice cat?

[No, Boris is anything but a normal cat. If his kitty eyes could glare then he would. Now, he will have to settle for another pillow!

He blinks though at the offered hand and just stares at it..... Seriously, if only you were a girl he would be more inclined but..... sigh he goes to sniff it and WHOA! WHAT IS UP WITH YOUR SCENT BOY?! What is all that in you smell?]

[Naruto can't for the life of him remember an animal that was fond of him. He sighs a little and shrugs at the cat before standing up, stretching his arms above his head.

He just has to figure out where he is, and he can go from there.]

[fabnguns]

[Hey.... Hey man, where do you think you are gonna be going. You still have a heart and he is greedy and still wants to listen to it.

But his scent.... What is up with his scent? And urgh, it's best to ask isn't it..... So, in a high-pitched voice....]

What is up with your scent?

[Naruto's eyes go wide. Did he just hear that cat talk? Well, that's not that strange, Pakkun talked to him before, but never a cat.]

You don't have a headband...did someone summon you?

[He glances around briefly, just in case. Jiraiya would be thoroughly embarrassed for him if he was caught off guard.]

Summoned? [And Trololol, Boris saw that wide eyed look.]

Nobody summons me, why should I be chained to a human? [Huff huff, seriously man, that is so not badass.]

And headbands.... So not badass. [All of this is still spoken in the high pitched squeaky voice.]

Okay, yeesh, sorry. [Man animals are so touchy when they can talk. Or they have attitudes.]

I'm Naruto, dattebayo! [He grins and points to his chest.]

[fabnguns]

[Because animals are so much better than humans or didn't you get the memo?]

Boris, Boris Airay. Isn't that the most badass name you ever heard?

No way, my name is much cooler then that!

Ah, no.... My name is still forever much more badass than yours.

[And oh hey! A puff of light and smoke as Boris changes back and he coughs.] Never gonna get use to that.

See? [Cheshire Cat grin here.] Much more badass. Boris Airay, the one and only and most baddest Cheshire Cat around.

Whoa..that was pretty cool! What's a Cheshire Cat? Is that a different kind of cat?

[fabnguns]

Of course it is cool Cheshire Cats are like the most awesome and badass cats of all time!

Especially since we have powers that you humans don't have.

[runningonramen]

Oh really? What kind of powers?

[Naruto is a little skeptical but he's interested.]

Well I asked! I wouldn't have asked otherwise-ttebayo!

[Animals. What was his luck with animals?]

Well you know what they say about curiosity~

That is right, an Outsider did ask~

[And did everything just stop around them? The water is no longer flowing and the people no longer and moving for all that Naruto will notice. And it's quiet in here, far too quiet.]
