As if having woken up on a floating piece of ship wreckage wasn’t enough…

Mako half turned to look at the ship of pirates that dragged him out of the water. At first he thought they were there to help, but really it turned out that they were the ones that destroyed whatever ship was there and thought he was a part of its crew.

How they could even make that mistake with the clothes he was wearing was beyond him.

Dourly, he flung his scarf around his shoulder and it smacked his neck from being soaked. It was either go to the island and be marooned just so they could laugh as they sailed away, or go back and fight them, try to take their ship. There wasn’t a shortage of confidence in his firebending, but the odds were stacked against him. He knew exactly by how much from his running numbers for the Triple Threats.

After enough wading his feet found sand, and he turned to see the ship be nothing more than a speck off in the distance. Letting out a yell of frustration about wherever the hell he found himself in, he brought up both fists and let off a large plume of fire into the sky.

Then he fell back onto his butt and put his elbows on his knees.
