Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! ♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

1) [Amongst the odd hustle and bustle around the Town Square, there's a purple haired girl, about 14-15, wandering around just flat out lost.]

...this isn't Kanon Town. Or Major Land. Or Minor Land. Or anywhere in-between... but, it looks so interesting! No, no, Ellen, focus - need to find the others... or someone familiar.

3) [It's an attack! Looks like whoever it is wants the ship and what it has! However, not everyone's going to take this lying down! Ready for the pirates is Ellen... though, her outfit is less of a sea-faring type and more of a... composer, maybe? Either way, she's here and she's ready to fight.]

I won't let them have this ship! They'll have go through me first!

4) [Slow day today. Nice breeze, clear skies. Yep, perfect. Which is probably why Ellen's taken the time to fiddle with an instrument or two? Why? Well, when you come from a world that has living musical instruments, wouldn't you?

Seiiiireeeeeeen! [And have a Captain Hummy face-grab. What, she's allowed to do this. Seiren is one of her best best BEEEEEST friends in the world, right!]

You did so great last skirmish Seiren!

W-Woah! [And Ellen's going to flail just a bit, caught off-guard by flying cat, before pulling her off just to look at her.]

You think? That was kinda rough, though...!

Naw, you did great! You fought bravely and everyone enjoys your music afterwards!

[Does Hummy care if Seiren is embarrassed? NOPE!]

H-Hummyyyyy! [And, yes, Ellen IS embarrassed here. Jeez, this is too much for the girl!]

Nya? [Have a clueless expression. Obviously, there's a thing to Hummy's obliviousnss.]

[There we go. Got her to calm down a bit. Sheesh, Hummy can be a handful at times!]

Any more compliments from you and I think I'd die of embarrassment!

I wouldn't want you to die from embarrassment though. [Hummy laughs from where she was being held and climbs up to Ellen's head.]

We should be heading into port soon, because there's a lot of stock to be sold danyan!

You're right, though... you think we got carried away with what we got? I mean, I had no idea that I was well known here, too and I didn't expect the crew to run off like that before I could attack.

Naw, better to intimidate than to fight! Hummy knows best. [Nod nod.

And yeah, they'd been going around with the 'fearsome' reputation that the SS Hummy possessed a Siren that could drown people instantly with her fierce beauty and enchanting voice.]

Well, if you say so... [No use arguing with Hummy. Hummy DOES know best.] Though, what should we get with what we bring back? I mean, beyond the basics...

[sighing and hanging her head.] I knew it... aw, well...
