See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[You can tell this guy doesn't really belong here, either by the confused look on his face...or the fact that he's wearing a t-shirt and pajama pants in the middle of a pirate town.]
Hey...uh, can you tell me where--okay nevermind...Miss, hey! I'm a bit lost, can you tell me what town this is?
[Or that he's questioning everyone nearby. Care to help?]
On a ship!
[What happens when you take someone who's never been on a boat before and force him onto a sailing ship?
You get someone who can't walk. Or has a hard time walking, at least, because moving across the deck of a sailboat is not the same as walking across solid ground.
Perhaps, though, he just really likes hanging out around this one particular mast. Yeah.]
A!
[Have girl like almost half Tohru's height looking up at him.]
Hi tiny girl
...A little girl? Or just a short girl? Either way, he's crouching to be more at her height.]
Oh...hey there!
Yeah...I'm pretty sure I didn't go to sleep here. This doesn't even look like the village I live in.
Hiiiii
I mean I was traveling, but I don't see the caravan anywhere.
I wonder why. [She looks all around, even at the sky as if a dragon might come swooping down on them, but then remembers her manners and plucks her cloak out a little and gives a curtsy.]
I'm Nah, it's nice to meet you. [Even though she's still not sure about well, any of this.]

It could be a dream, though. Yeah, he has been playing a lot of video games lately. And her ears are a little bit weird to be human...]
Too bad the locals aren't very much help.
[He's frowning at a handful of said locals, before noticing his new friend introducing herself.]
...Nah, huh? I'm Tohru Mutou. You can call me by either name.
no subject
[Not that she expects much from most people, all told.] Are you all right Mr. Tohru? You barely look dressed enough to leave the house.
no subject
I'm...not. These are just my pajamas.
[Fortunately he's not in just his underwear, that'd be very embarrassing.]

A
I am lost as well but isn't this fun?!?
Another tiny lady!
Fear the tiny ladies!
[Paaaaaaaaause.]
Sooooooooooo~.... Wanna join my crew?

FFFFFFFF SORRY FOR THE LATENESS!
Goin' with the popular vote of A, here...
Yep! I sure can. [Her smile brightens.] Isla Empieza's the name of this island, and it's where everyone wakes up.
[She pauses, putting a finger to the side of her face, her expression briefly turning to one of a bit more sympathy.] Heh...you must be new here. Don't worry, that confused feeling'll wear off, before you know it!
[She's giving an encouraging grin, now. She knows how hard it can be, when a person first arrives. She hasn't been here all that long, but she knows it's much easier to adapt to a scary situation when a person's...well...friendly.]
So many nice ladies
[Finally. He figured he'd eventually get somewhere if he asked enough people.]
Isla Empieza? Is that the name of the town, too? And yeah, I'm new. I went to sleep in my bedroom and woke up in the middle of the street. [Eheh.]
...Why am I here, anyway?
<3 c:
Hmm...I guess so? I haven't actually questioned that. [She lets out a soft laugh.] Ah, they got me in the middle of the night, too. Guess they like to make a habit of inconveniencing us, as much as possible.
[In spite of the sarcasm in her tone, it's obvious it's still somehow lighthearted. Of course, she is worried and annoyed. They took her while she was in Tartarus, and she can't even begin to imagine how worried/confused everyone is. She really hopes they're all alright...
To his final question, she nods.]
Right, then! [She slaps her fist into the palm of one hand. She almost gives the impression she's about to present a project in front of a classroom, or something.] So, from what I've learned, so far, we're supposed to be gathering the shards of this ruby. Once all the pieces are put together, that's supposed to be the end of it. Apparently, we'll be able to make a wish. It seems like this ruby's a pretty big deal, since we supposedly get to make any wish.
[Propping on hand on her hip, she cocks her head to the side with a smile.] Well, if any of this is true, that means there's a chance we'll all get to go home. Hopefully, whoever attaches the final piece is considerate of the rest of us.
B
He snickers. Quietly, but it's there.]

Hey, quit laughing at me, it's not funny...
no subject
[He'll smirk at Tohru instead.]
Not that hard really. You just put one foot in front of the other.
no subject
[He is detaching himself from the mast, though, and making his way over to Natsuno.]
How long did it take you to get used to it?
no subject
[He reaches out and takes Tohru's sleeve and nudges him towards the railing.]
Lean against that. No one will know. And I didn't have any problems.
