[He draws his hand back, before finally drawing his sword parrying her blows. His back eventually hits the railing on the side of the ship. After a quick hop, he balances on top of it, daring her to come up after him.]
You want to grow stronger? Why? What's the purpose of your swordsmanship?

That reason's simple enough. I'm going to be the world's greatest swordsman. [ She punctuates that statement with a few slashes - the first one is off-balance from being up on a rail, but she adjusts quickly for the rest that follow. ]

Just to be the best? Not a bad ideal, if lacking in vision.

She blocks his counter-strikes, as they're not Shishio's fastest. Still, it takes a good amount of concentration to make sure they don't throw her off balance. She does find time to add in something, though. ] It's a promise I made. And I intend to keep it! [ She goes in for an upward slice following his last strike. ]
