See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!
♦ Arrr, here be buried treasure, but not all that glitters is gold! Will ye be telling your mateys what ye found, or keeping it for yourselves?
Takashi Morinozuka | Ouran Host Club
[Well, he certainly looks lost. He's not asking anyone for directions, and his expression is relatively neutral, but that's not stopping Takashi from sticking out in Isla Empieza like a sore thumb. He wanders around the town square, completely without direction, like he's just waiting for something to give him an idea of where he should be looking, and he doesn't look at much of anything like it's familiar. Not even mentioning his clothes, completely out of place in these surroundings.
This wasn't Boston, he'd left Boston. It wasn't Japan, either, he'd think he'd remember the plane landing. It certainly wasn't the plane, and he'd been standing here way too long to just be dreaming. That was the last of the theories he'd had, now he was just confused.]
[B: Aboard a Ship]
[Eventually, he figured himself out. Really, once Mori got himself on a ship, it wasn't much of an issue. It might have taken him a while to get used to being out on the sea, once he'd figured it out, he took to the work well enough. Nothing too complicated, just the matter of making sure the ship could continue to go where they pointed, above the surface rather than below it. He didn't pay much mind to where they were going or what they were doing, just quietly did his work.
Even when he was resting, he didn't say much to the rest of the crew. WIthout Mitsukuni's buffer, he found himself pulled even less than usual to participate in conversation. Still, he would normally sit by the crew, listening to their conversation in companionable silence.]
[C: Choose your own]

Inns are that way. [Her voice is extremely American and very South-Eastern. Part drawl, part Southern Belle. She points to illustrate.] An' the harbor's down that way, if you're lookin' for a ship.
[His clothes look fairly modern, so--]
Y' find a journal 'round you when y' woke up? 'S like a cellphone. Close enough, at least. Case you're lookin' for anybody. They might be here. Prob'ly ain', but doesn' hurt t' check, y'know?

... Could he even afford a room at an inn? Or a ship, whatever he might want one of those for. Somehow, looking around, he doubted many of these establishments would take plastic. That, he guessed, would just have to be a bridge he would cross when he go to it.
He nods once after her explanation of the journal he'd picked up without really thinking about it. He'd figure out exactly what she meant later, but for now, he did have a question to ask.]
Why a ship?

[She pauses, and...]
Yeah. Still sounds weird.
Basically? People 'round here? Those of us who show up are expected t' get the Hell out pretty quick. Some've got better luck than others with how long they can stay.
An' the only way off this place? Is sailin'. Nothin' motorized.
A: Town Square
[A tall teenager falls into step next to you, smiling brightly with just a hint of strain behind it.]
I'll admit, I don't know the way around here myself. But that's not what I'm talking about.
