Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! ♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

Franky is just kind of hanging out in his little rowboat at sea, with all the grace and dignity of a guy who figures hey, this could be way worse. He could have not managed to put this baby together at all, being skint on both good supplies and time before an unfortunate cannonball.

Sure, it's not like he's about to get eaten by a shark either way, but there's some pride to be had here, dammit! In fact- ]

Yyyyyeah!! [ Rock the boat, don't rock the boat, Franky- but it's too late, he's standing up tall and posing for his victory. Confetti. Dramatic background waves. One more angel getting its wings and wishing this guy wore pants. ] I'm extra speedy this week!

[ Finding the others again is gonna be a breeze, in fact, he's so super right now. ]


[ Or hey, totally open for other options. All are welcome in my super shaky voice testing extravaganza. ]

[the ship he's looking for isn't too far off. Luffy is sitting on his special seat on the dragon head bowspirit When he hears the familiar voice. He sits up and peers around, spotting Franky in the far distance. He propellers his arm a bit before shooting it out across the water

and whap! catching the side of your rowboat]

GUM GUM NO FRRAAANKKKYY!

[don't look now but here's a rubber captain hurtling in your direction at super speed]

[ Aww yes, that sure does sound like a captain coming his way. Not that he was worried or anything. Of course. Out in the middle of the ocean like this, though?

Haha, probably gave some of those new kids a heart attack yelling like that. Nothing like fun among weirdos and idiots. But hm. Franky lifts his shades and looks down at the hand just hanging onto his little boat like it's got business there. That very familiar stretched-out arm... attached to a flying hammer... coming right at him. ]

Strawhat?! [ THE HELL, MAN, THROWING YOURSELF AT SUCH A SMALL BOAT. Gosh.

He guesses he should probably prepare to catch him if it looks like he's gonna hit water, too. Too late to keep him from coming to the boat this way at all, after all. ]

[well good because he's coming right at you. But surprisingly undershot and his face hits the water first a few feet from the boat.]

[ No mistaking it. That's the future Pirate King. Franky very patiently and gently swears, fires a hand off after him, and reels him in.

Though by patient and gentle, I mean more of the roughest and most frustrated manner. ]

Your aim still sucks, huh?
