Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! ♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[leans in a little, shady motherfucker] Come on, Conan-kun, lend me a hand here. I bet you could find a town in no time.

[ He was about to respond but his entire brain shuts down and he takes an involuntary step backwards. ]

[ H-How did this guy know his name?! And Why not state it immediately upon meeting him?! ]

[notices his expression.

Hehe, you seem worried, Conan-kun. And you should be - Gin-san here is a God among men, who knows all of your secrets!! You wouldn't want to make me unhappy, would you?

[tantiny]

[ Another step backwards. Sweat slowly starting to trickle down his face. ]

[ H-how..? ]

[ He'd been careful, hadn't he? He'd protected his secret. Stayed out of the spotlight like he was supposed too, s-so he couldn't mean that could he? ]

[ He can feel his heart rate picking up and he looks nervously at the ground. What now Kudou? Have you blown your cover? And if you have, do you want to know about it? ]

[well, even a heartless man like Gintoki can feel sympathy for a kid that looks like he's terrified.

Now now, don't look like that. As long as you keep me well fed, I won't tell anyone anything ever. All I need is one dessert a week!

[ All his secrets. N-no way... it couldn't be... could it? Then again... Bourbon had been getting awfully close to the agency lately... ]

[ He tries to slam his paranoid musing to a halt, to recover as quickly as possible but he's still visibly nervous. ]

Th-that might be a pretty tall order if you're on a ship for m-more than a week.

I'm sure you can manage. You're a smart kid, aren't you? I bet somewhere inside that head there is a few recipes for desserts.
