Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[Gibbs is an easily trusting man by nature anyway, and someone who spoke their mind wouldn't bother him much.] Aye, I know my fair share and then some to sailing and other things.

[He had after all been a sailor in the Royal Navy for some years before turning pirate.]

Then any ship you sail on would be a good ship indeed. [he was no sailor though he knew the principle behind it. his skills laid in science and engineering.]

Unfortunately the only skill I can offer anyone is my skills in weaponry.

[Normally that might very well be true, but Gibbs also had a slight problem, one that occasionally got him in a spot of trouble. He loved his rum a bit too much.]

I would suppose so. I have a feeling we will be needing all types to be get out of this place.

[The last time he'd gotten out of the Locker, it had required a team effort. And a ship.

We'll be needing a ship too I suppose.

[rum was better than some of the habits he had seen in others. extreme body modifications came to mind far too readily, although exactly what was modified was the question. Joji really didn't go for that sort of thing, though it had been popular among the higher ranks.]
