Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[Fortunately for Rikki she's not the only one standing out like a sore thumb. Normally Ikki would only wear his cloth inside its pandora box, but walking around a place filled with pirates too stupid to know what's not worth their lives is too troublesome. So he chooses to walk around wearing it on instead. He still gets looks, but at least none of them are looks of "wonder how much gold he's carrying in that box" or anything like that.

He's currently trying to get information so for once he's actually paying attention to who is around the area, in search of anyone who may look as if they know something he may not know. The blonde teenager doesn't fit that description, probably looks as if she knows less than him, but she gets his attention either way. Just, not enough for him to go to her yet, she looks alone but she may actually have a crew around instead and so bothering her wouldn't be needed.]

*That... definitely was really out of place, even for this place. She wasn't sure what was normal for pirates, but this wasn't it. She does her best to move around, giving anything that might have water a wide berth.*

I don't really think you fit the theme of this place.

*Rikki closed the distance weaving through the hustle and bustle like she was used to it. Her town wasn't huge, but it was pretty constantly hit with tourists.*

[Ikki observes her, wondering if it's just his imagination or if she's avoiding water as if it was poison.]

I know, probably because I bath everyday.

[Sarcasm, though he does bath everyday, unlike most of the people around here. He eyes her again from head to toe before he adds.]

You don't fit the theme either, let me guess, you were invited here without any warning.
