Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[And the whistling does startle her a bit as her wings fluffs out completely and insert quite the 'graceful' sight of her jumping a little and then struggling to regain her composure.... AKA Watch and laugh as she falls off of her resting place.

What a thing to wake up to! A love song of all things! And the only scent around is that of a Beorc no less!

She now goes to look towards Thatch in order to study him a little, drawing her wings close to herself before going to let out some chirps and whistles of her own.]

I don't quite understand. [he almost did. Maybe it was a kind of accent?] But I suppose you understood me? Are you a zoan, then? Some kind of divine bird woman? Or [and he whistles] an angel of light come to fill the night and chase the shadows away

[He doesn't understand? But he did whistle at her...]

I am just a mere heron, my lord. I don't not know what this zoan is.

[But okay, at his cheesiness with the whistling, she couldn't help but to giggle a little. Talk about corny!]

[a heron. But not a zoan? Does she not know what it is or is she something different altogether? Well, it makes no difference in the end]
