Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! ♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

How much worse do you think my sea sickness would be if I had no boat beneath me!?

But still, why are you sick to begin with?

I'm... not certain. I couldn't tell you why this is. I think it has to be some kind of nervous condition, as I obviously no stomach to be churned.

It is an odd condition to have, perhaps taking your mind of such worries will work best?

Yes! Something that will preoccupy your mind, and let the other worries ease away.

Is this your way of telling me your garments need repairing again.

I am perfectly capable of repairing my own clothing.... But, it did seam as if it might be a fitting hobby.

[And perhaps having someone else repair them was a bit easier.]

Of course not! And if you find it not to your liking, we may find another endeavor more to your taste.

That is only an issue because you are quick to be rude.

[Kettle calling the pot black, saying rude things in a fancy way was still rude Futo.]

I have the subtlety you most lack in.

I-I can be subtle! I just choose not too because it so often goes over your head!

That is hardly a good excuse, not only do you lack in subtlety, but you are also quite crude and vulgar in your speech. That is what accentuates your rude behavior. If you practiced tact, you would be more successful.
