What part of FL? The happiest years of my life were living in the 'place where all them witches, devils and warlocks live', i.e., Cassadaga. I still miss it tons.

Gulf coast, about an hour out of Tampa. I'm in that awkward little city that has a GIGANTIC GREEK POPULATION.

Also, I'm the only ginger in town. It's pretty funny. But, alas, I've never been to your sweet, haunted little town. Been here for a decade and never made it to the east coast.

Oh, I've been there! One of my BFFs lives in Tampa, and she took me one time when I was visiting. I loved an antique store in an old cigar plant; they had things I wish I'd had money to buy (a blown-glass Artemis with her hounds, for one).

Ha, haunted! My house was next-door to Mr. Colby's burnt-out wreck of a shell of a house, and had seven 'regular' ghosts and many, many drop-ins. There are very few days that pass where I don't wish I hadn't just rented my house to someone, rather than sell it, when I left.

Well, there's plenty of other haunted places around to drop by and visit if you ever make it nearby again. Especially if you know someone in the area, so you can crash at their place and have a ghost hunting partner.

Man, now I wanna try some ghost hunting again...

We used to do it all the time, whether we paid for it or not. There were a lot of haunted houses in the area, often for sale, so we'd go and explore during open houses. Most of the time, we didn't run into anything too bad, or at least not as cranky as two of the beings in my own house. (If there'd been a way to cite 'ghosts' in the divorce preceding, my ex-husband probably would have; they really hated him.)
