Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! ♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

Eh? Okay. I woke up and I was really hungry so I went to the galley but Sanji kicked me out so me and Usopp fished a bit and I caught a big on and accidentally woke up Celestia so Sanji kicked me again, he's in a really bad mood, and then me and Pinky took a nap with Zoro and then Kai and me and Usopp were up on the crow's nest and spotted the island and we asked Keimi where we were and what it was but she said she didn't know and I saw a cool volcano in the distance so I decided [takes a breath] to go check it out.

Forget it. I'll ask the rest of the crew.

Okay! But first I wanna see the volcano. [strolling away from town though right through the grave yard of bones and skulls] It has smoke and everything.

[thiefstyle]

[ WHAT ARE THEY DOING IN A GRAVEYARD ?!!!!! This brings back some awful memories of the zombies. ]

We can't, Luffy! It's too dangerous. We will die up there! [ ;_; ] We should head back to town right now!!

[allendsmeat]

[he can't help but laugh. He's missed Nami freaking out about nothing. He's missed Nami period. And it's great just to have her back again by his side like usual]

I thought you didn't wanna go into town! And we'll only die if we fall in so it's okay!

It's not okay!!!

[ So much yelling. But, knowing Luffy and how persistent he can be, Nami had no other choice but to tag along and make sure he wouldn't do anything risky. ]

Ah, I forgot to ask. Do you remember how we ended up in this place?

[allendsmeat]

[It is okay, though, because he's here and he won't let anything hurt her and she's here so he'll be able to find his way back. That's how it works. He starts up the narrow path, holding out a hand to help her over a particularly rocky bit]

The ghost guy brought us here so we can find the shard things for him. It's kind of a mystery, but when we find shards we're going to give 'em to Smokey.

Hmm, how strange.

[ Not going to go against captain's orders, though. Regardless of how weird and reckless they might be, she will always support Luffy. She takes his hand and tries to keep up with his pace. They haven't reached their destination yet, but- ]

Ah, what a nice view! We can see the volcano perfectly from here, Luffy. [ One. Last. Try. ]

It's a mystery.

[Yep. As for the volcano he really wants to go but he is glad Nami is here so-- they didn't have to go if she really didn't want to.]

It'll be okay but we can turn back if you want.

... Eh? Really?

[ She smiled and tossed an arm around Luffy's shoulder, guiding him back toward town. Totally taking advantage of this rare moment. ]

I'm glad you guys are okay.

[he's sort of disappointed about not going right away but he can always come back later. Nami is better than any volcano]

haha of course we are! By the way, Nami, your hair got pretty long. Are you from two years from now, too?

[ Oh, Captain. ♥

Nami blinks, seemingly surprised. ]

... Yeah. [ ... ] Wait, this is confusing! Are you from a different timeline?!!

Timeline? [headtilt] I came from Impel Down. Does that count?

... You've got to be kidding.

[ This island. What is even happening. ]

Luffy!!! This is the kind of information you need to share right away! A lot of things happened and alliances been made, and we need you to be fully prepared! [ Shake shake shake. ] This is serious!!

[allendsmeat]

Ehhh? [why was she worried now?] It's okay. We'll just make alliances again. Anyway even if you tell me I won't remember.
