![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!
B
She hears the yelling, but not from the entrance but from one of the superior floors. She arrives to the room, in search of the source of the voice, only to find a man... Who apparently had decided to lick one of the walls.]
What... What are you doing? Why did you do that?!
[She approaches, intending to help, but stops when she realizes what she's doing. No, she can't touch him. Not without her gloves and even with them it could be dangerous. But how to help him then? If only she could thaw the ice, but she knows not how. She looks around, trying to figure out a way to help the man.]
Wait, wait a moment, please. I'll think of something.
B
[he says... though to untrained ears it may sound a lot like:]
Fi funfed foo fee fuff fif faffef fife. Fif fiffy foof!
B
[She reaches for him again but... No, even if she dared to try to touch him, what is she going to do? Pull him apart from the wall? That won't work, it would hurt him! Why is it that she keeps hurting people even when she doesn't do anything directly?! As she starts to panic snow starts to fall in the room, she has to do something! Anything!]
Okay... Okay we need to break this. Just a moment...
[Break the ice is something she can do, it will ruin part of her palace, but her palace isn't more important than someone! She gestures with her hand and ice spikes shoot from the floor to the wall, breaking it apart. Which leaves the boy free, even if still with a piece of ice glued to his tongue. She steps closer to make sure that he's not wounded and makes the ice spears retract.]
Now... Now go back to wherever you came from and get some fire or something to melt that, okay?
no subject
Fan fuu! [and he shoves the sizable chunk of ice wall into his mouth, his cheeks stretching to accommodate it. Best idea everAHHHH! Brain freeze! Brain freeze! Rolling around awkwardly on icy floor as his head tries to kill him]
no subject
The woman steps back, away from him. Worried but scared, terrified to try to help and only cause even more damage.]
no subject
Pretty.
no subject
Once she can finally react she runs closer to him, stopping close to him, watching him worriedly. When she moves the snow storm seems to follow her, circling around her as if she was the center of it.]
Are you okay?! Just... What were you doing? How could you-...
[Wait, pretty?]
Pretty?
[What is he talking about now?]
no subject
The snow. [he isn't sure where it's coming from but that doesn't matter] Think it'll get deep enough so we can make a snowman?
no subject
[Very confused. And still scared, enough so that the snow keeps whirling around them, and she can't even bring herself to care to try to control it. When he talks about making a snowman, though, Elsa visibly flinches and looks at him with wide eyes again. She speaks slowly as if trying to make sense of what's going on.]
A snowman? You are... In an ice palace, after gluing your tongue to one of the walls, in a room where it's snowing... And you want to build a snowman?
no subject
At her question, though, he nods]
It's a great place to do it! We could make them in front of the window so they can have a great view! [he hops to his feet and looks out the window a minute before turning around and grinning at her] What do you think?
no subject
[The voice of Anna, asking her if she wanted to build a snowman, day after day, year after year. Begging her to come out the door, to play with her. The magic words that once had always worked to make her go to have fun, failing with their magic again an again.
Yes. Yes, she wants to build a snowman, to build an army of them. She wants to play with the snow and her ice. She has always wanted. But she couldn't, it wasn't appropriate. And though an empty island where she's settled may be appropriate, the circumstances aren't so.]
Aren't you scared? Or confused as to where the snow comes from?
no subject
no subject
No... No. She can't do that. Her powers aren't something she can play with along with others.]
I'm sorry, but you won't be able to make a snowman here. There's plenty snow outside, you could go there and play there if you wish.
no subject
He blinks at her words. He wants to make snowmen but...]
Wanna come with me?
no subject
[Make a snowman the old way? With natural snow and not one created with her powers. She used to build them with Anna that way, after creating enough snow for them to make one, it would be the same, except that she wouldn't be using her powers.
That... Could that work? But it would be too dangerous if they got too close, wouldn't it? Her tone is very regretful when she speaks. She wants to but... She can't take any risks. It wouldn't be fair to him.]
N-No. I'm sorry, but it's safer if I stay here.
no subject
no subject
Monsters? No, no! There's nothing on this island! No one except me. And a bit of food, no treasure or animals.
What I meant is... That it would be safer for you if I stay here.
no subject
no subject
Danger? Fun? What if it's mortal danger?
[Because that's how it is with her. And no, he can't stay, he should go. She's dangerous!
She's about to argue that when he comments around the palace.]
Ah, yes. I did, I have ice powers. I can make ice and make snow, but I can't really control them, and they can be dangerous for others so when I found this empty island, I decided to stay here.
no subject
Eh? Really?! Hey, join my crew! [they could have snowmen whenever they wanted! And even cold days when it got hot outside! It was perfect! Plus she seemed really cool.]
no subject
What? Why?
[She can barely aim to react adequately to that.]
no subject
no subject
Go? Wait, go where?
[She really hates being so confused and lost, but she can't even bring herself to get angry or annoyed. Just overwhelmed.]
no subject
no subject
Wait, are you sure that's a good idea? I mean, returning to your ship with a stranger to join the crew, just like that. A person of whom you don't even know the name! Would your captain and companions accept such a thing?
[Please, no one in their right mind would.]
