Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! ♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[Naesala misses the contact immediately, but makes no sudden moves to regain the touch.] The last time I spoke with you, it was together with Tibarn. You'd left to deliver a message with Nealuchi, and...

And it's been three years since you woke up in the forest. Reunited with Reyson. You don't remember any of that?

[He's looking down a bit at her, bewildered; and then shakes his head at her last remark.] There's nothing to apologize for. You've taken me a bit off guard, that's all.

I am sorry but I really do not remember....Reyson? He's alive? How well does he look? And how is Taibarn? (And the hug returns! This time around its aimed for around his neck.)

I am glad. (Okay, now the important stuff.) But I am still more glad to see that you are well.

[A sigh. Nothing's making sense, but he's not going to fill her in on three years right this second.] Yes. Reyson and your father are both alive. They-- Reyson is doing just fine. Years spent in Phoenicis have done him a bit of good, loathe I am to admit. [Pause, because he never actually talked to him, but- ] Rafiel was found alive as well.

And Tibarn is the same as he's always been. [He...he really sounds like like he doesn't want to talk about him.]

Though I'm just as glad to see you. [He grins.] Had me worried there, for a minute. Being on a beorc ship without warning.
