♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

Abandoned Island

[Okay, Ania's not sure exactly how she wound up on this little rock, but it's certainly not the worse place she could've washed ashore. The whole thing had been a giant pile of scraps and junk, and she'd been lucky enough to make landfall with a ton of provisions from her previous vessel. And finally she's managed to get a small boat together out of the excess junk, cobbled together but serviceable, if not exactly pretty.

And wouldn't you know it, it's now that another ship happens to drift on by.

Naturally, that ship is yours. How do you approach?]

[Marco gives a sharp whistle to the crew and tosses her a line.]

Ahoy down there Miss! Are you all right?

Uh. Ahoy!

[Ania looks at the big man with all his tattoos and the pineapple hair with obvious amusement. Seriously?]

What do you think? Young girl like me, stuck on a small island, all alone. Granted...[She kicks her franken-ship once] I got a boat, but you're the first ship that's come by in days.

[megatonpunch]

[Well it's less like a ship and more of a kind of... small, little, beat up dingy he found? It rocks back and forth as the waves causes him to slowly drift by the island.

...

Oh hey! There's a person there. Um. He's going to wave a little awkwardly at her with his stubby arms. You got that whole Abandoned Island thing down right?]

Oy!

[You know, if she wasn't from a universe where there are talking slugs and floating brains in jars, this might be a little weird. As it stands? This is just a little off the wall.]

Hey there.

Ou...

[He gives her a nod, as he rocks back and forth a bit. Eventually he does a little head tilt at her and the island. And then at her little improvised boat. He rubs his head a little and looks at her with a worried expression.

Are you really going to use that thing? It doesn't look very safe, lady.]

What's the matter little guy? Don't speak Basic?

[...this is a first...]

[He shakes his head, before giving a pause and thinking. He tries to put his stubby arms against his lips in a thinking pose before his expression brightens from an idea.]

Hiiiii~! [That's all he really says. Or rather due to silent protagonist syndrome, all he's willing to say most of the time.]
