♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[Mana was up late to check something in the galley... there was a small hole in the hull letting moisture in, and she had to make sure it didn't get too bad and spoil the fruit.

She was heading back to her quarters when Sakura landed on the deck of the Shepherd, and Mana just stared, wide eyed]

... Um? Hello?

[slugly]

[SO MUCH FOR STEALTH OOPS

She freezes for a moment and then smiles nervously, straightening out of her crouch.]

Hello. Sorry to bother you.

[Stealing a ship that was empty and unused was fine, but taking one from someone else she didn't think she could do.]

[sorry for the delay]

It's alright...

[Mana yawned tiredly]

... But um, what are you doing here? You're not here to steal from us, are you? Because... that wouldn't be very nice, you know?

Ahaha! No, no! Not at all!

[Not now, anyway. And not this boat.]

I was just wondering if anyone needed a medic on their ships. Seasickness is pretty common when you go sailing and I know some tricks to stop it.

... A medic?

[Mana's expression brightens]

We need a medic...!

[slugly]

--You do?

[abundantlove]

Of course! We could use a medical officer! What's your name? I'm Aida Mana! I'm the the captain!

[slugly]

Oh. I'm Haruno Sakura. Nice to meet you.

[A small smile and slight incline of the head.]

I suppose your crew gets sick often if you need a medic?

[abundantlove]

Hm? Oh, nononono. But isn't having a doctor a given for these sorts of things...?

[slugly]

"These sort of things...?"

You know! Sailing!

My girlfriend is studying to be a doctor, but it isn't quite her field of expertise yet...

It takes a while, but if she keeps up with it I'm sure she'll be fine.

[abundantlove]

Oh, I don't doubt her at all! Still, she's focused on being our navigator for now... we could still really use a medical officer!

[slugly]

Ah-- well.

[The offer of medic was really only a means to get her out of trouble from boarding and (almost) stealing a ship that wasn't hers but if they really needed someone...

She can't really say no.]

Ha ha, well... I have to introduce you to everyone first! That can wait till morning! Until then... how about I make you something in the galley and we can get to know each other a bit better, hm?

Food does sound nice though as it's been a while since she's had a good meal, being in a war. She's had to survive on soldier pills and will alone for the past few days.]
