See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!
Robert Mullins | Fox's Peter Pan & the Pirates
"Hey!" He called out. "No whistling! Are ya tryin' to bring a storm?"
"And you!" He called to another shipmate. "You'll bring death to us all, I tells ya! Never cut your hair while at sea!"
He gasped in horror and rushed down the mast.
"Are those flowers?" He had to throw those overboard as soon as possible if they wanted to survive. Flowers were for funerals.

"The sea is supreme, which is why ya don't wanna taunt it. Neptune gets jealous when you make offerings to Proserpina in his territory."
no subject
"Maybe so, but I'll do what I want as a pirate's right. If Neptune has a problem, he can come and face me like a man." Though he says all this lightly and with warm humor, not taking the threat seriously.

"If ya want to challenge a god, I won't be stoppin ya," he conceded. Thatch was an experienced sailor and they did come from different worlds.

"So tell me about yourself, mate."
no subject
"He's plenty strong enough for me," he said. "If you could take him down a few pegs, it'd be quite a feat."
This large fellow did seem like he had a better chance than the average sailor. He was competent on the deck, so Robert couldn't dismiss his views. He may have also had experience with the supernatural.
"What do ya wanna know?" He said. "Im all my years of sailing, I've seen some strange things. Even by the standards of this place."
He was aware that some thought of him as a minor storybook character.
"Ever hear of a place called Neverland?"

"What are you doing here, ya little curly tail?" He asked. The little fellow appeared to be in a dangerous position. It was horrible enough that it was on board. Killing one would bring even creature misfortune. Also, it was a cute little creature, though he would never admit to that opinion.
The gruff, scarred man made a grab to pull it away from the burner.

Instead of trying to dissuade him by pulling the 'smart pig' routine, he went straight for the aggressive!

At least it wouldn't burn itself while attacking him.

And then when he heard the kettle go off, he jumped and kicked the side of it, getting hot water all over himself--to which Ryoga stood up out of the steam, arms crossed tightly.
"Hey, what's the big idea!? Was I botherin' you!?"
no subject
"How was I supposed to know you was cursed?"
If only he had his almanac with him. It would have given him some insight on how to help Ryoga.

"This ain't Prospect Park, Lass!" Robert exclaimed. "Flowers have got no place on a ship, unless ya want that to be our funeral arrangements. They be a symbol of death!"
no subject
"Prospect Park?" She tilted her head to one side in confusion. "Eh?" Funeral arrangements!? With a squeal she lifted the first pot and tossed it over board. Even if it sounded farfetched she didn't want to be the one responsible for causing everyone's doom.
no subject
He sighed in relief as the girl tossed the pot over. At least someone was willing to listen.
"Thanks," he said as he tossed over more of the flowers. Perhaps, she could become a sailor in spite of her gender and hair color
no subject
Haruka was probably one of the few that didn't try to argue with Robert over things like this.
no subject
"You've got the right idea" he said in an attempt at encouragement. " Ya gotta look out for your shipmates."
no subject
"Is there anything else that needs to be done?"
no subject
He looked around for more obvious problems. He had completed most of the rituals to counter the worst curses.
"How much do ya know about this ship?"
