Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! ♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[There is currently one (1) very sad rabbit-looking creature, wandering around the square. She's looking a little sad.]

Coco-sama? Nuts-sama? Karen? [Her voice breaks a little and she pauses for a moment.] ...Nozomi?

[She's not having a lot of luck finding her friends, it seems. She lets out a defeated little sigh and sits down on the ground.]

Where is everyone-miru...

[Behold the wandering sorcery genius. New locations weren't anything necessarily strange, but getting tossed into them with no warning was another thing.

Lina was kind of pissy, to be honest.

More than usual.

Still, upon seeing the little creature, she does a double take.

Thus, she approaches.]

'Scuse me, but I don't guess you're related to a Prince or anything, are you?

[cominguproses]

A Prince-miru?

[Milk looks up at this strange person, for a moment looking a little unsure... and then suddenly she looks really happy. Like, really really happy.]

Ah... Could it be... Are you a friend of Coco-sama and Nuts-sama? Did they send you to look for me? That would be just like them-miru!

[...yeah, she's completely gotten the wrong idea from that question, whoops.]

[...undignified, noticeable snort from Lina's direction.

"Nuts."

Ahem. She composes herself.]

Can't say those names ring a bell. The guy I know's named Pakota.

Actually, he's kind of a brat, but...

[She crosses her arms and huffs.]

Dammit. Of course, I'd just run into some other talking magical creature that looks like a plush toy. Because those are so common.

Wait, so you're not here to rescue me-miru?

[Annnnd now she's annoyed. Damn it lady, you got her hopes up.]

I'm not a plush toy, I'm a citizen of the Palmier Kingdom! And not just any citizen either, I'm the Princes' personal caretaker-miru!

So rude-miru.

[Lina squatted down and gave a smile which was not at all looking like someone about to try and swindle you, no ma'am.]

Well, I don't know, how much are you willing to pay me to rescue you~?

[Pause, wait. Rude?]

[Snort. Again.] Hey, just stating facts.

Pay-miru?

[A huff.]

Why should I have to pay you? You should be happy to help someone important like me! Of all the nerve-miru!

I might as well just safe myself then-miru!

Oh don't be so naive, everything's got it's price.

[She rubs her chin, eyeing her curiously.]

In fact, a royal assistant should probably fetch a nice chunk of change, when you think about it...

But if you want to fend for yourself among a bunch of dirty, rotten, no-good, low life pirates, who am I to judge~?

Well, you're right-miru! I am a very valued citizen, after all. But my Coco-sama would never pay the likes of you-miru!

[She doesn't trust you one bit, lady.]

And I'm not scared of pirates, they should be scared of me. I can handle myself just fine-miru!

[Lina laughs, cocking her head to the side and giving her a snide look.]

Oh really, and what's a little thing like you supposed to do, eh?

[As if she didn't know Pakota could lob Dragon Slaves just as well as she could. Don't bring logic in here, folks.]

Little, huh?

[And suddenly - poof! - gone is the little rabbit, replaced by a purple haired girl. Kurumi smirks.]

Are you sure about that?

[Lina screeches and falls back on her ass, blinking rapidly in surprise.

Okay, even for her and all the strange stuff she's seen, that takes her off guard.

Bet Pakota wishes he knew that trick.]

What the hell-?!

[She growls and picks herself up, dusting off her cloak.]

Real funny there, sister... What're you trying to do, scam people with that parlor trick?!

Parlor trick?! You really are rude, hmph! That's my actual form, you know.

Not that it's any of your business!

[She points at her, in an accusatory manner.]

Look, I'm used to things that aren't human turning into human forms, but you're the one expecting poor, innocent strangers like myself to save you free of charge!

[That voice! Could it be?]

K-Karen!

[Yeah, Milk is just going to jump up and attach herself to you, Karen. Hope you don't mind the rabbit hugs.]

I'm so glad to see you... I was afraid I was all alone!

[Karen doesn't mind rabbit hugs at all. Look, she even has an icon for them.]

It's all right. Not everyone is here, but you aren't alone.

Huh? Wait, is this like those storybook worlds again-miru?

[At least she wasn't a turtle this time. That was a step up.]

Well, not exactly. This is a bit more substantial. There are people from other worlds here, too.

From other worlds too... That sounds like a big problem-miru...

Ah, but I'm sure you've already figured out a plan to get back to our own world, right, Karen? And with me helping you, we'll be out of here in no time-miru!

[oceanicbutterfly]

Er... about that plan to get back...

[cominguproses]

What's wrong-miru? If you need any help, you know I'll do it! If there's anything at all, just ask-miru!

You... You do have a plan, right-miru?

I don't have any kind of plan.

[cominguproses]

[Shocked staring for a moment. Aaaaaaaand then comes the crushing disappointment.]

Oh...

W-Well, I'm sure we can come up with something together! I mean, you are the Precure of intelligence-miru!

[oceanicbutterfly]

Of course. With you here now I feel like I can make progress.

[Maybe this will soften the blow of the whole "been here four and a half months" thing. Maybe.]
