See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!
Kuno Kodachi ♥ Ranma 1/2
[Upon closer inspection, that black spot would be revealed to be a young girl lying down on the back of a large turtle, which was keeping her afloat. She was wearing a voluminous black dress and a veil, both of which were soaked and tattered.]
[Upon even closer inspection, one could note that she was talking to the turtle, though her eyes were closed and she looked pale and waterlogged.]
Oh, you're such a good pet, yes, you are, Mr. Blue Alligator. Please don't let me drown. ♥
no subject
That, or it was just a turtle with a chick on its back.]
...Ah? That's a tasty looking turtle.
[The turtle didn't seem to respond. Then, Ace noticed Kodachi--]
Hey, there's a girl, too.
no subject
Oh! Oh, captain, dearest me -
Would you have pity on a poor, lost girl?
[Her lip trembled, and fat tears welled up in her eyes.]
Please? ♥
no subject
...You gonna eat that turtle?
no subject
[Immediately, she burst into tears, sniffling and flinging herself down onto his back.]
[It might've been just a fragment of one's imagination, but the turtle did seem to sigh just a little.]
No! This turtle saved my life and kept me from drowning a painful, cruel death at the hands of cannibals wearing vending machines as costumes! [Did that even make sense? Ah, well.]
Aren't you going to save me, good sir? If you aren't, then I bid you adieu! [She buried her face in her shoulder and began to sob noisily.]
no subject
Fine, Fine. I'll just eat somethin' else from the galley, then.
no subject
[Kodachi leapt onto the anchor with the dexterity of one who was fighting fit, though she still ensured that her gaze upon her new rescuer was as dewy and waif-like as possible.]
Goodbye, Mr. Blue Alligator! I shall see you soon!
[The large turtle seemed to wave at her before it dove back into the depths.]
Oh, captain, how can I repay you? ♥ [Kodachi looked up at Ace with wide, adoring eyes.]
no subject
Also, a bit disappointed that the turtle got away.]
Ehhh. Well, you could start by telling me who you are.
no subject
[Yes! She was one step closer to commandeering her own ship! Now, to slowly wrap this fellow around her pinky finger . . .]
[She took a step closer before stumbling, sighing dramatically and stumbling into his (hopefully waiting) arms.]
Oh! I feel faint, captain. Oh, dear. Oh!
Re: Kuno Kodachi ♥ Ranma 1/2
Things couldn't have been good for them, if they were out there by themselves.]
Hey!
[Said the mermaid, surfacing next to her.]
Are you alright? What happened to you?
no subject
[Still, it would do to keep up her devious strategy. Kodachi, the Black Rose, would not be foiled by this minor setback.]
[She fixed the mermaid with a watery gaze, tears glistening in her lashes.]
I am stranded at sea - oh, woe is me!
no subject
Just... relax, alright? I'll get you back to dry land in no time.
[Let's see.]
The nearest port town is a ways off, but it shouldn't be any problem for me to get you there. Just hold on, alright?
no subject
Oh, but - do you think you could get me to a ship? [How could she hijack a ship if she wasn't on it?]
[Kodachi tried to hide her look of disdain as she laid back down onto her turtle.]
no subject
[Did she just hear that right? Well, it wouldn't be a problem to actually get her to one. But, uh...]
I can... try, but I haven't seen any ships at all lately. It might take a while, you know.
no subject
[There is a crown perched on her head, which shines in the light as she leans over the side of the ship. The Hero Queen, for that's what she is, says (accompanied with a 'woof' from her loyal dog):]
Do you need help?
[It's not the most wordy offer of assistance, but it'll do.]
[The Hero had seen the dot of unusual colour in the sea of blue and chased after it as a matter of curiousity, not really expecting to find a person there. The turtle was a little closer to what she thought she'd find; the Hero was used to running into monsters and the like, so it would have been completely unsurprising to her to find something like a sea serpent.]
no subject
[Her patience had paid off, and perhaps now, she could strike!]
Yes, oh, thank you so very much for your kindness, good lady!
[The martial artist lifted her hand up for the woman so that she could be hoisted aboard. It was a small ship, but for now, perhaps it would do.]
Goodbye, Mr. Blue Alligator! I will remember you!
[The turtle seemed to give a salute before it swam off gracefully.]
