Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[Yes. yes, yes, yes, yes. Finally!

Nagisa quickly ties the rope to part of his little raft then waves his arm.]

Got it!

[He'll keep near it, ready to grab the rope itself if it comes undone. He can give up the raft. He's not giving up hope of rescue.]

[slugly]

[Right. He's got it, good.

Once she's sure he has hold and is ready, she grips the rope right and starts hauling him in all by herself, steadily and fairly quickly. She watches as the little raft hits the swell of the waves and she's a little concerned it will give.

But she's fast and even fighting the current and the speed of their boat moving onward, she's got Nagisa to the boat in record time and she holds out a hand for him to grab, not even winded.]

Take my hand!

[And Nagisa watches every wave carefully. If the little raft does capsize, he can, even without the rope, swim to the ship at this point. That's a relief to see, definitely.

And when the pieces of wood knock together? Even better. He reaches up to grab her hand, using his other to grab a bit of railing too and, with her help, pulls himself up.

Pretty decent strength in his arms, really.]

Wow. [Once he's on deck, he can grin a bit.] Thanks. A lot.

[slugly]

[Sakura pulls the rest of the rope in, letting it thunk wetly to the deck before smiling back at him.]

I'm just glad you're alright.

[Looks over his not-as-alright appearance and soaked clothes. Her smile drops a little.]

You are alright, aren't you?
