Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[She actually thinks about being a part of his crew because it's Shepard but she doesn't look happy. Not gonna happen.

The objections of the company he keeps hasn't changed because he hasn't changed his company.]

I figured that was true about you.

[He gives another shrug and finally relaxes some. Shepard can understand the type of person Aria is probably better than she realizes. He's good at that with just about everybody he meets which might explain how he's so charismatic. In any case, he doesn't push the issue. Aria does her thing and she does it well. If anything she'll probably find out information faster than his own crew will.]

You'd hate our ship anyways. We attract way too much attention.

I like to think it's more than luck. You planning on harassing anymore wayward travelers tonight or do you want a drink? The crew is busy and I want to see the locals' faces when an asari walks into the bar.

[If Shepard didn't know anything she doubts she's going to have any more luck herself with this. Typical if you want anything done, you have to do it yourself.

Ugh. The mention of them has her jaw tensing.]

Locals seem to think I'm a 'wicked sea witch' because of my tentacles and magical powers.
