Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[Sure she means well, but that doesn't change the fact that he's tired of citrus, goddammit. She doesn't stuff them down the rest of the crew's throats either!

In any case, he takes that face towel with a a quick, "thanks!" before wiping his face off. Like all of it. All nice and sweaty. She offered it! He gets it good and soaked.]

It's just kinda hot out here is all, especially if you work the whole time. Plus there's no shade at all.

[doubtingly]

[It's okay! It's Naruto's sweat, anyway. It's okay. That sounded wrong.

At the observation he raised, Hinata looks around. It's true. It's really hot out here on the deck.]

I agree. Therefore, it's vital that we don't stay out here for long periods of time. Or, if it is inevitable that we do, we should take a break as well.

[obstinates]

[It's wrong and you should feel wrong.]

[At that remark, Naruto rubs his chin a little. He's done a lot of work today. Nobody can say he's not, not even Sasuke. He should feel good about everything he's done to help out. Maybe a little break can't hurt.

So each clone starts to poof away in a cloud of smoke. There's one on the mast above Naruto touching up some paint who disappears too, and Naruto reaches out and catches the bucket of paint as it falls without even taking his eyes off of Hinata.]

Eh, I guess I can take a break for a little while. You gonna eat with me?

[doubtingly]

[Sorry not sorry hahaha.]

[The question makes Hinata's cheeks color a little. It's not so much because Naruto asked her to eat with him, but the fact that she's going to be alone with him for a period of time both scares and excites her.]

Oh, well, I- I suppose I can. [She's already slightly fidgeting without her even noticing.] Eating alone is a little lonely, after all.
