See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

Why are they talking to me? What do they want? Who does this bitch think she is, asking me to leave my closet? I was here first! I should give her a piece of my mind, show her who's in charge here!
Tomoko makes a few choked noises before speaking in a quiet stammer.]
W-Why?
no subject
You can't stay in there. I left something in there.

She steps back and presses herself against the back wall.]
Y-You can c-come in.

She slips out from under the box and edges over to the door, slipping just enough inside of it to not be easily seen from at least one direction of the hallway.]
There's not enough room. Y-you can't live in a closet.

She's watching Akira, musing.
She's kind of pretty this girl. I wonder if her hair smells nice.
Not expecting her to talk, she starts a bit and stammers her way through another answer, looking at the ground.]
I d-don't l-live in h-here.

[Out of her box and out of her element, she hesitates, trying to find some way to get in and out without coming into any sort of contact with Tomoko. WHY DOESN'T SHE JUST GET OUT OF THE CLOSET?
Finally, all she can do is just rush in, grab the bundle of blankets, and rush out.
But she can't carry them and stay under the box at the same time, so for a second, she's just frozen in the hallway with no idea how to proceed.]

[Tomoko offers it weakly, but she really doesn't want to be locked in. She clearly hasn't thought this hiding in the closet thing through. She's just trying to avoid her crew, that's all.]

It's not like they could live together, but maybe...]
They still could. I-I live in the hold. I...built something there. You could...
[What would Shoko say?]
W-we could be neighbors.
no subject
[Tomoko steps forward a bit, peering at her from the light of the doorway however, she isn't sure what to make of that. When people do notice her, they tend to move on. Quickly. It's not like Tomoko seems terribly open to conversation, after all.]
no subject
Th-there are a lot of boxes, so...
[She puts her blankets in her box and picks it up, looking both ways to see if the coast is clear before edging down the hallway. Tomoko can follow if she wants. If she wants to go get locked in the closet, that's her business.]
...we, um, we have to get to the hold.
no subject
I-It's not very far.
no subject
N-not too far.
[Not too far at all. They manage to sneak down there without being seen. In a far corner of the hold, there's a structure made of emptied wooden boxes and chests and some discarded sailcloth. At first glance, it just looks like a pile of cargo, but it's where Akira has been living since she came on board.]
I-I live here, so you can go anywhere else.
no subject
If they were on the journals, she might be able to say things to Akira, but in person it's just not possible.]
