See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[He wouldn't bother her if that were the case.]
Yeah, everything's fine. We're just missing a certain person to join us on deck.
[He also may have been checking on her to make sure she was okay. You know, he didn't want to assume anything then whoops, they need to make an emergency run to the doctor in the middle of the ocean.]
I'll meet you up there. [Assuming she actually does end on that chapter. Who knows, but he won't bother her again if she gets herself absorbed.]

[Which she does, obediently and fairly quickly after finishing that chapter and putting the book away to her shelf. She smooths her dress, raising a hand at the sunlight initially as she comes out of her room onto the deck. Estelle blinks, adjusting to the change in light as she looks around, ensuring the crew is fine and Yuri is around somewhere waiting for her.]

Well, look who decided to finally grace us with her royal presence.
[He heard her last retort on reading up on islands, but he can see a few of them in the distance from their boat. Almost as an example he goes towards a rail and leans over it.]
I see why you'd want to read up on this stuff, but isn't it more fun to experience it?
[Like maybe if an island had killer cats on it he can see why they'd need to be warned, but otherwise he's more for the thrill of adventure and unknown. Then again, that's why he's glad they have Estelle because she can read up on all this stuff he'd overlook.]

Reading up on it means I get to experience it even more fully and be more prepared. That doesn't mean I don't want to experience it in person, of course I do. After being in the castle for so long....I want to see and learn more. Everything I can!
Even here...the ocean is beautiful. So big....
[Definitely amazing and a whole different ball game from reading about it in books. It doesn't capture the size and scope of it, not really. Estelle knows what he means, but at the same time she can't dismiss books altogether either.]

Well, I don't think it matters where we go, the ocean is always going to look like this. Even so, it's still something nice to look at.
[Says Yuri when he saw the ocean for the first time along with Estelle. It's still fairly new to him, so he understands her amazement.]

[She is half curious and half teasing almost, pondering and wondering. The ocean is so clear and bright blue out here, Estelle can't help but wonder if the ocean is always blue in any world they might find themselves.]
I mean,....you're right. It is nice to look at. I've never seen some of the fish and things here either.
no subject
Maybe. I don't know what makes the sky and ocean blue so I can't say either way.
[Though he'd probably freak out if he ever saw a purple ocean or sky... Doesn't seem safe.]
There's lots of different stuff here, huh? Guess that keeps things exciting when it's not the same old, same old like back home. Even there, that didn't bore me.
no subject
[There's almost a knowing smile at that, glad that things seem sufficiently interesting for Yuri. She knows how he can be at times, but the one thing that can be said for him and their group is that it really does never get boring. There's always something going on, some new place to explore, something new to research, new people to meet and help.]
