Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[She goes to set him down carefully on the shores but away from the water. Nope, not gonna try that again and she goes to sneeze a few times. Sorry, Crocker, some water got inside her nose.

After finishing sneezing she goes to turn back to Crocker and goes to start licking him. You are gonna get sick if you stay wet, strange little baby. Dragon tongue bath time! Must get you nice and warm before you get sick now.]

[The second Denzel is set free he tries to make a scramble for it. The man doesn't get very far as he crawls on his hands and knees before finding himself back in the claws of a dragon. As she begins to lick the man he squims and screams.]

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

[That was her plot all along! The dragon had just been toying with Crocker and now she's going to eat him up!]

I TOLD YOU!

[The man pleas for his life.]

YOU'LL NEED TO WEAR GLASSES IF YOU EAT ME!

[However rather than screaming in pain, she's slobbering all over him? Maybe she's making him tender before she stinks her teeth in.]

Hey! HEY! Watch where you're licking! That's private!

[Now this is just getting awkward.]

[She is completely and utterly use to this type of behavior. It is best to let whatever it is get it out of their system before they can relax. She continues with the licking to dry him off before going to let out a long sigh. Come on little one.... There is nothing to be afraid of.

She goes to let out a low rumbling sound from deep within her chest and moves now to start nuzzling him with her nose and tip of her mouth. There there.... The scary water is gone now and you are rid of the scary water. There is no more reason for you to be afraid.]

[This is it. This is the end. The dragon had licked every inch of Crocker and he saw the dragon coming in closer... and closer and closer. His only defense is his shaking body knowing this is it. ]

I regret not having been successful in capturing those fairies and never been able to make humanity pay for what they did to I, MR. DENZEL CROCKER!

[Turner won as it would seem. The world will never know that fairies actually exist; there was no one else in the Crocker line to continue on the tradition of hunting magical creatures. There's a brief pause and a less vengeful tone.]

I also regret having lost the love of my life because of those fairies.

[Not to mention his reputation. Crocker shallows hard and squinting his eyes closed. It'll all be over in a moment.

...What the? After a few moments of the nuzzling Denzel peeks open his eyes and stares at the dragon. Giving the dragon a what expression.]

This isn't eatting me?.. In fact this is almost comforting?..

[Denzel blinks a few times.]

[Snowball continues to nuzzle him, making low almost cooing sounds to try and calm him down some more. There we go, almost there. You are safe. She listens to his strange sounds but the last two.... They sounded like he was sad about something.

She goes to lick his face before going back to nuzzling. She also plops herself down, which causes the ground to shake a little from the impact, to not only keep on nuzzling him but also to make herself more his height so that he wouldn't be so scared of her as well.]

[This is rather strange Denzel has never heard of a dragon acting dog-like before. The confirmation of dog-like came when the dragon licks his face and a slight smirk seems to edge on one corner of his face. That is until she makes the ground shake and the man stresses out again by yelping and to only be calmed once again by the nuzzling.]

I suppose you're not going to eat me.

[Before slowly reaching upwards and placing one of his hands on the side of the dragon's face.]
