Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for
high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! ♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

[ This is just wonderful. How did he get himself marooned? At the least Calvin found land, and however small it was it had a small pool of drinkable water a short hike's distance away... but even as there seemed to be a larger island more likely to be populated in the distance he couldn't exactly row there in his broken barrel without risk of that going horribly horribly wrong. Along with the disheartened noise of his tail's crackle, the Charmander sighs. It was soggy, but try write in his journal anyway, he does. ]
PLEASE HELP, STRANDED ON SMALL ISLAND. WILL SIGNAL WITH FIRE IF POSSIBLE HELP SEEN.
[ --Maybe the text was too big and too bold, but he genuinely was worried he'd be stuck here. Actually, given the situation he was shockingly calm. Might have to do with being stranded in worse situations before. So the lizard sits at the sand, squinting at the water for any sign of help. ]
