Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! [Initially, he didn't think much when he first saw the numerous amount of firearms and explosives by the fountains. It wasn't until he gave the fountain another glance that he realized who it was they all belonged to.

And that was about all Ieyasu needed to make his way over to the mercenary. Even if he had hoped that no other familiar faces would be pulled and planted here, Magoichi was honestly one of the more welcomed sights.]

I see you were also unfortunate in being pulled from home, Magoichi.

[Well, well. The eastern sun wasn't the first person she expected nor necessarily wanted to see at the moment, though she supposed that they would have to discuss the matter of Sekigahara eventually. For now, though, it was good to see someone she knew.]

Indeed. I trust you've fared well since last we met.

That I have. Then again, I would probably be worse off if not for Motochika being present as well.

[Between the Navy, the most recent of events, and everything in between, he's just thankful he's able to deal with most things. And really, with his own lack of knowledge when it came to sailing, he really did have to be thankful for the pirate's presence.]

And yourself? I trust that you have also been well since then.

[Though he does wonder just how long it had been since they last spoke. And really, now was better than never. Plus, he knows she's not exactly the small talk kind of person. Or at least, not as much as most he knew.]

If you don't mind, perhaps you could also fill me in on any news from home you may have.

So he's here, too. It will be good to see him again.

[Especially if he's helping Ieyasu, rather than fighting him. Ieyasu's question, though, is a rather difficult one to answer. Everything becomes difficult for her when it comes to the Oda.]

I survived, with my men more-or-less intact. That is more than I can say for my enemies.

[Even now, she can still feel her heart pound at the thought of facing the man who killed her master, with him being even more powerful than he was then.]

Before we marched to Sekigahara, I received news that the remnants of the Oda forces were gathering at Kanegasaki. It seems that, while you two were busy tearing at each others' throats, they intended to resurrect the Demon King. Though they were successful, I prevented it from becoming a problem.

I was surprised myself, if I am to be honest.

[And never will he forget having his named yelled at him through the weird journal.

But he falls silent, intent on listening to what she had to say. The mention of Sekigahara brought a break in his expression, but just as quickly as it had appeared, it was replaced with his usual smile.]

Are you certain- [No. He wasn't one to actually question the information that the Saika were known for gathering. If she said Nobunaga had been resurrected, he was going to trust in that. Even if it was hard to believe.] And what of Sekigahara?

[Even if it hurt to think of, having been pulled away from the battle at the start of it left him more curious than anything.]

[Magoichi notices the way his expression faltered, but says nothing. Typical Ieyasu, hiding his true feeling behind an empty smile. She falls silent at his question, but continues on after a moment.]

I apologize. I cannot say. The battle was taking place at the same time as my pursuit of Nobunaga, and I didn't get the chance to hear the results or if it was even over before being brought here. I actually expected you to have a better idea than me.
