Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

"I think you'll find you have new currency. The book, as well."

Nami took notice of the book but then focused on the money. She pulled out what she assumed was this new currency.

"What is this?!" Her heart sank a little thinking of the gold she had stashed on the Sunny. Really hoping that Luffy wouldn't find it while she was absent.

"The gold standard of this island and many other islands. We're a long way from the Grand Line. Look at the layout of the sky. Does it seem even the slightest bit familiar to you?"

Nami felt her heart sink, "No."

"Luffy? The others? Where are they?"

"The boy has his own ship, but I can't be arsed to know where it is. Maybe in port, maybe not. I haven't been there since the other day."

Nami nods and starts to form a plan. "Well, I need to go find my captain then."

She smiles at Crocodile suddenly happy to have run into the scaly man. "Thank you for helping me."

He dismisses the gesture with a snort before heading on his way.

"Do keep the boy from drowning himself. He at least provides mild amusement."

Nami turns and smiles, "That is the plan. I hope we run into each other again." There is a sentence she never thought she would say.
