Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! ♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[Cho'Gath straightened his bow-tie, and reached into his coat pocket for his pipe.]

Confined? Well... I suppose that is one way of putting it. I'll admit, it has been some time since I've been able to go out for just a casual stroll. Although if I'm not mistaken this isn't exactly runeterra, or the fields of justice is it? Perhaps there is another form of summoning involved with the reason behind the two of us being here.

[He puffed on his pipe, concentration etched across his mandibles.]

Quite the bizarre set of circumstances if I do say so myself.

[Yay~! And oh hey, she does smell nice! Do all Outsiders smell this nice?

Ah, but she is asking him a question and he doesn't quite want to move away yet so have his answer near your ear, Minako.]

Yes, that is correct. [Okay a quick attempt at a very light but gentle nip on her neck before he pulls back, still smiling before going to laugh a little.]

That is just the name of my role and what I am! I am Boris Airay! It's nice to meet you, miss Minako~?

I haven't but maybe Nami has. [who can say what mysterious things she does]

I just think they're pretty. You know some of them make pictures and have stories about them!

[he didn't find this out until recently and he still thinks its really cool]

[ level grinding!! or battling monsters around the forest, because monsters still drop items and money right?? either way colette has her chakrams at the ready, floating some inches off the ground as she slashes and throws. but somehow she still manages to trip, yes, even when floating in midair, and she falls face first to the ground. ] Wah-!

[ she has to be a what now? ] A pirate? [ don't they pillage and plunder and be bad guys? not very fond of that idea... ] Maybe we could be good pirates instead! We can sail and help out people if they ever need it.

[he just blinks at him and then smiles a little too, not exactly sure what to make out of him.] You are certainly an odd one.

[Well clearly you need his raft-building expertise! He's just doing the right thing here by volunteering himself...or something.

Also it's better than his current plan -- which consists of standing there uselessly hoping he'll just magically end up back home.]

A stowaway? Heh, no thanks. Unless the idea is to burst out of hiding once we're out at sea and take over the ship.

[Does...raft-building type things with the rest of the wood.]

Hnnnn, don't think about it. [A slight handwave as he goes back to fishing.

His ears flicker at the sounds that Luffy was making and turns his focus back on the strange person.]

..... That is not normal. Are you not eating enough?

[so he did know of the Whitebeards. Imagine that. But Thatch wasn't sure what to do with this reaction....]

I think you heard me the first time. [he narrows his eyes a fraction] Have a problem with that name, matey?

[Maribelle was on one such ship, after negotiating for escort to an island that was a better hub of civilization. If she was going to be stuck in this world for an extended period of time, she likely would need to set herself up in a place where she would more readily have access to the necessities of a noblewoman. She was sipping a cup of tea when she noticed a slight distortion in the wall closest to her.]

What in the world...

[That's when Boris... that lowborn perverted half-feline materialized in her room.]

Oh... it's you.

[After the last time, she had sharpened the point of her umbrella so that she could stop any such behavior right from the start.]

[another person stepped into the space, this time swinging a sword with a little more skill than sense. Joji ducked and spun out of the first wild slices before stepping in close and using his right arm to block the next swing. green light flared at the joints of his arm, and the sword shattered. Joji smirked at the expression on his attacker's face and kicked him.]

Truly evil.

[fabnguns]

[Oh come on man! Don't you know that being called that is respectful? Old farts these days, let Boris tell ya.]

Oh? Haven't seen much of any because of the old man.

[And whoa! WHAT IS THAT SMELL?! Why is it making his head feel a little funny. And what?.... What is he doing?

He didn't realize that he suddenly had his head in Thatch's hands in order to rub on the scent.]

[And Karla moves closer to him and leans against him. He's so warm...]

[Thatch laughs and scritches behind the cat man's ears absently]

Like that smell, do you?

It's not obsession if it's perfection

Come on, pretty bird, let's tease the hell out of everyone and get a free meal out of it.

My lucky day! [He smooths himself into a seat] So tell me...what brings a classy lady like yourself to a dive like this?

[Whoa, what type of room is this?! This is sissy and frilly just a little like Alice's room...... He frowns a little at that thought, not fully realizing that there was a familiar person here. That is until he sniffs the air and finally turns to look towards Maribelle.

He perks up at once as he hasn't seen her in.... How many time periods has it been?]

Yo! Maribelle! [He took a few steps towards her, grinning quite a bit. But wait.... This woman was a lot like Alice and unfortunately, if he remembers correctly, didn't quite accept his affections like Alice did. So he doesn't quite get so close to her.]

Still mad about that?

[fabnguns]

[What is he doing?! Why does his head feel so weird and now he is purring.... Purring for this man.

Cannot properly form words at the moment, just what is in that mint that is making him behave like this?! Also poof! He is now in the cute little fluffy cat form.]

[thatched]

[now that he's gotten a closer look at her it's easy to tell she's pretty hard worn. Far be it from him to leave her in that state]

Seems like we're sailing the same boat, then. [he smiles, lowering his head a little] You look like you could use a drink or two on some charming if slightly impoverished gentleman.

[he offers an arm]

[Boris blinks and goes to look towards the voice. Oops! He woke her up didn't he? He chuckles sheepishly but doesn't quite give it back yet.]

Don't worry, not gonna steal it.... Just admiring it. Never seen a gun quite like this.

Oh ho! Surprising creature aren't you?

[this world's equivalent of a zoan perhaps? He holds the fluffy cat in his arm, giving him lots of scritches and pets]

I guess the biggest question is, are you any good at catching mice?

[There she goes, finally at last. He waits until she is comfortable, even just a little bit, before going to drape his arm over her. His fur moving with the arm drape so that it is also draping her a little as well.]

......Where were you heading?

It couldn't have been too peckish, since Descry didn't stop and demand that they find a tavern first. That was perfectly fine with Skulduggery. Many saw food as a potential for luxury, but since his death, Skulduggery hadn't seen it as anything more than a mildly distracting and annoying necessity. It was amazing how many more hours in the day there were when no physical necessity held you back.

Descry's question was so unusual as to be surreal. Only Valkyrie had ever known the truth. Valkyrie was the only one Skulduggery had ever discussed the details with - and even then, he held back far more than she was aware of.

"Because the Necromancers found their Death Bringer," he answered, and if the subject matter hadn't been so serious, you might have thought he was making a remark on the weather. "She grew too powerful too fast, and there was no other way to stop her."

[When Boris is back to being Boris again.... Pirate or no, he is so gonna get this old fart back for all of this.
