Test Drive for September 2013 Apps

Welcome to our first Test Drive for

high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! ♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[ Oh, he does enjoy it so when he can illicit such a reaction. ]

I see, I see-- is it down to ne-go-ti~ations, then?

[ Popping the remainder of his biscuit into his jar, he then caps it in order to sit himself up. Brushes the crumbs off his chest. Hum, hum. ]

You mayyy find me to be a worthy addition to your crew. I am a skilled craftsman, and an undertaker. You never know when you might need one of those around, mmm?

Other planets, actually.

[And she'd be happy to point out that she's not scared, thank you very much. Just- okay, maybe a little paranoid. Just a little. Getting yanked between worlds didn't sit well with her.]

We've got plenty, but we're kind of using them right now.

[Seriously, why does he look so relaxed if he's a castaway?]

Undertaker? And you hope to bring such a service on board of a ship?

[ He lifts his arms in a shrug. ]

Should one of your ~beloved crew~ die-- would you care to toss 'em in to Davy Jones, or give them a rightfully proper ceremony? And~, as skilled as I am with hallowing out a body, I can put one back together just as well♥

[She's used to such scenes of gore, of disembowelment, and thankfully due to the lack of breathing, there isn't much to smell. That doesn't mean she's impressed.]

I see you're up to your old tricks, Undertaker. [Warning someone to stay away from a certain area is just inviting visitors. Probably what he really wanted. Her eyes glances over all the preserved organs, already knowing their names on sight alone. Thank you, Madame Red.]

[ Weeellll, perhaps she's got him there. Whether it's a seasoned professional of death, or a poor wretch with no idea what he's in for, it almost always entails a laugh. And sometimes forcing someone to swab up their own emptied stomach contents. ]

Mm~, I couldn't very well cease my studies, now, could I♥?

[ This one isn't going to do very well for a Bizarre Doll, though. He hasn't quite worked back up to making those yet. ]

Of course not. [No one expected him to simply stop what he was doing and behave. Especially since he isn't caught. It would take a lot more manpower to take him down, but it doesn't hurt to keep your enemy close for the time being.]

How far along are your studies? [She watches from a distance as he works on a cadaver, which looks pretty fresh.]

[ He chuckles, a low, short, hissing that has his shoulders quake. ]

How kiiindly supportive of you, miss. Inquiring after them so.

[ Back in, then. He's poking around for something or other in there. Probably the original reason for dragging the body in here, but no one had to know of the other ventures, now. ]

Well then, what do you remember last? You'll have to humor me, old memory and such.

[ Which is his was of asking what point in time you're from, Grell, without admitting the limits of his own knowledge. That timeline business was awfully tricky. ]

I've not been known to be kind. You may ruin my reputation for such!

[Yes, she sees what he's doing, and it's very clever. Grell smiles.]

Isn't that my line~? [No, she isn't one to dance around a subject.]

"I'm Luffy." As soon as he clings to the barrel it sinks a bit but it's not bad. The armor must be pretty heavy. "Where did you come from? Did you fall from a ship?" He thinks about this for a moment and then adds. "Or the sky?"

Hmmmmm. [wishes are very serious business so he has to give an answer he feels from the depths of his heart]

Lots and lots of meat! So much that not even I can eat it all!

Is it?

[ For a brief moment, Undertaker pauses to look Grell's way. ]

I was under the impression that women tread into old age grace~fully.

"Hmm. I don't know. I've never tried." He thinks for a moment as he helps gather more rocks.

"I can heat myself but I'm not sure if I can get beyond that." At least not yet.
