Welcome to our first Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where players can test out their characters' voices, try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

No, you do not. Though we are related, in a way. You're Luffy's older brother, if I'm not mistaken.

[Though, sorry, guy. Nothing about you says pirate to Hector. After all, if you can pick a pirate out of a crowd of people, that is a pirate that is, in fact, doing it wrong, at least where he's from. After all, you wouldn't be a pirate very long if the Navy could spot you right off.]

[Ah, so she did speak. Wary of humans, perhaps? Ashura's smile softened, hir gentle persona firmly in place even when hir words belonged to the part of hir that was utterly uncompromising.]

[She moved to leave, before turning around, going back to turn the map around to it's proper position.]

[ Ignores him for a moment so that she can haggle with the merchant! It's still a little weird, but she's come to find that it's a useful and necessary skill.

A few minutes later, she turns back around with a bright, beaming smile, hairclips wrapped and safely tucked away in her purse. ]

Maybe Kaito should let me help him get over that silly fear instead of running away all the time~.

haha you think so? He'd be great to fetch but it doesn't look like he'd be any good with sails. Maybe he can be like a cabin boy! You can have him fetch slippers or something like that!

Please trust me when I say that fish and creatures on the seas are not likely to have a sense of smell, while your crew and allies do.

[He nods a bit in thanks at the distance, though, shifting around to be upwind so the smell is less prominent.]

I'm sure there's some way. Perhaps with heavy soap, or some other scent. Or fire, if necessary. [He's kidding. Kind of.

But ahem.]

We do have a hint on how to leave, though. [He points at the fountain.] In short, the engraving there said that by finding all the pieces of a shattered artifact and putting them together, any wish could be granted.

-As she pulled herself up, she caught the display of his power and had a visible look of shock. It was familiar to her, just like that woman in the bamboo forest back home. Was he like her? In her dumbfounded staring, she hadn't even realized her hood had fallen away, revealing two canine ears standing in attention.

Looks like that answered his question.-

Nobody's at risk. This is still within my plans.

[ Still watching that ship. And Zeref's magic. She could probably save the enemy from Zeref if she needed to - both her and Zeref's magic were weaker now, but her defensive spells were still nothing to sneeze at.

However, that would also lower their own ship's survivability if she had to, since she was preparing to cast a barrier to block incoming cannon fire. She wasn't sure if she could cast two simultaneously. No Mavis casting two spells simultaneously isn't easy. ]

The only way for you to join us is to wear a dress. It's our rule. You'll also help us capture a few of them.

[Korra, predictably more excited about this adventure of a lifetime than Mai, lands on the deck from the crow's nest with a shot of air to cushion her landing. It's anything but graceful thanks to her poor technique, but...]

I think we're going to be landing soon!

[She struts her way over to Mai, peering around the taller girl to see what she was doing.]

[Yeah... trying to sneak away from a death? Not the best thing anyone could do, orc or otherwise. As Tednug turned, Izanami's eyes snapped over to him, and the fog gathered around him, making it impossible to see in a very short time.]

[Turns at the sound of the whistle, and its a totally new face that's calling him. A bit of a surprise you haven't heard of them though, but that may be because he's not where he should be.]

I am the leader of Team Aqua though it would appear my crew is missing. Are you a native to this island?
