[So it turns out trying to fly around while the sun was just starting to set is a bad idea for a guy who can't see in the dark. Who knew!!

But wait - what light on yonder ship is this? It's not a ship he recognizes, but he just needs to rest for a moment, and maybe use the light to see where the hell he is...] Don't mind me... Not here to interrupt.

[In other words, a dude with big black wings just landed on your ship's mast. You don't mind if he makes it a perch to look around and try and get his bearings, right?]

[Is that a giant raven fighting a small band of poorly trained pirates? Over treasure? Sure, makes sense.

Looks like it's winning. There might be few scattered limbs. Watch your step.]

(Either it was good or bad luck for Naesala as one of the ship's mast had a nest made on it. It was a small and not the best looking nest but it is one nonetheless!

Leanne blinks as not only the familiar sight of black feathers but also the scent smells really familair.... Older smelling but still..... Familiar.)

Rest.... As much as you need to. I am sure that my captain wouldn't mind. (She has ways to make say yes oh yes she does. Fufufufufufu)

[His eyes first flick over to the nest - nothing strikes him as too unusual, maybe he could use it - and then his ears catch up with his tired mind and--]

Leanne? [Said incredulously. He still can't see her too well, eyes aren't adjusted yet, but the scent's there...maybe he's hallucinating? One way to find out.] Is that really you? What are -- you're on a beorc ship?

h-h-how's it going?

Eh? [What? This crow knows her? Wait..... The scent and who else would know of her....]

Naesala? [No way? Is he really here? And oh... oh~ my has he grown. Flee now as she is so going to tackle hug you the best she can!]

It is you! [Sorry, she is ignoring his questions in her moment of sheer happiness. Yay! Seeing childhood friend! And he is looking big and grown up too. Fear her hugs, bird king, fear them.]

-kAY this is deFINITELY her and don't mind Naesala, he's just going to try and regain his balance here for a sec, smooth his wings out, put an arm around Leanne so she doesn't lose her balance...

Ah. Yeah. It's definitely her.]

Oof -- yes, it's me. Who else could it be? [Still holding on, he looks around as if missing something.] But why are you here? I thought -- aren't you with Nealuchi? [SO CONFUSED, LEANNE]

[She couldn't help but to laugh a little as not only he catches her but returns the hug. Oh yes, she doesn't mind.]

I do not know. I haven't seen you in so long and I am just glad to see that you are alright and grown so big. [Happy chirping is a go.]

Me? I woke up here from my slumber and my lord Ed found me. He took me in along with his 'mate'. [Ed and Winry are forever mates in her mind. She saw all those thoughts, Ed.

She tilts her head and looks up at him with confusion on her face.] Nealuchi? He is still alive? [Okay, back to happiness again now.] That makes my heart so happy to hear!

i am super glad to hear that!

[Her laughter's almost infectuous, what, with the way she refuses to pull apart. But whoa there, this is a lot of information that doesn't make sense.]

Still alive? [You're panicking him a little bit. Juuust a little.] Did he just leave you to be found by these beorc? I specifically told that old crow not to leave your side until you--

[Wait a minute, back that up. 'Slumber'? 'Grown so big'?? It can't be...] Hold a moment, Leanne. What is the most recent thing you remember about the last time you saw me?

(Never ever letting you go again if she can help it! She honestly thought that she would never see you again! ;A;)

I am sure that he would not let it happen if he had the chance. (But then the question and she goes to think for a moment.)

It was the day before the Beorcs came and attacked Serenes. (She does now finally let him go with a droop of her wings. She still hates that memory. Hate it so much. But now she forces a smile to put up a better front for him.)

I am sorry, Naesala.... It was rather bold of me to behave like that.

[Naesala misses the contact immediately, but makes no sudden moves to regain the touch.] The last time I spoke with you, it was together with Tibarn. You'd left to deliver a message with Nealuchi, and...

And it's been three years since you woke up in the forest. Reunited with Reyson. You don't remember any of that?

[He's looking down a bit at her, bewildered; and then shakes his head at her last remark.] There's nothing to apologize for. You've taken me a bit off guard, that's all.

[Elsa was taking advantage of the night, to be out on the deck, while no one else was. Looking at the horizon, trying to discern anything in the darkness. It wasn't working, of course, but the fresh air of the night and the loneliness of the night felt good.

She definitively wasn't expecting someone to suddenly reach the ship, much less what seems to be a human figure with wings. She looks at the creature with a mix of curiosity and wariness. When she speaks, she tries to keep her tone out of any of those emotions, keeping it polite even if confused.]

I'm sorry, but if you're not here to interrupt, what are you here for?

[He couldn't even tell if there was anyone out and about on the ship by the time he landed, but it seems speaking his thoughts out loud worked as a warning nonetheless.

Peering down, he tucks his wings in a bit before replying.] Pardon, it's gotten dark quite earlier than I expected, and your ship was the closest thing I could see. [Doesn't really sound too sorry about it.]

[He doesn't sound sorry about it, but his words make Elsa understand that it would be pointless to be sorry for something caused by circumstances outside of his control. She certainly can't blame him for it.]

Are you then in need for a place to stay for the night? Is that all?

[That...was not expected. Yelled at, maybe; chased off, sure, but not offered a place to stay? By a human? Sounds fishy. Suspiciously: ]

Mm. That may not be a good idea. Perhaps it's best if I'm on my way sooner rather than...later... [Last bit trails off as he looks over the ocean again and wow there is nothing out there. Good plan!!]

[A human that leaves a trail of ice and snow on the deck as she walks, Elsa walks a bit close to the mast but keeps her distance all the same. She certainly has no intention of getting close enough that she may pose a threat to the strange... Man?]

This ship won't deny refuge to someone who needs it in the middle of the night, travelling with no visibility in a strange world would be unsafe. However, we won't force others to take refuge.

Stay if you wish, for as long as you want. There are free rooms below or you may stay there if you prefer it.

[There's a pause before she looks behind her at the trail of ice, then she looks up at him again.]

But if you choose to stay, I'm going to have to ask you to leave as soon as the sun rises. For your own safety.

[Well now if this isn't a strange sight. There's no tome in her hands, but Naesala assumes it must be some form of magic. He should probably be more careful just in case. He eyes the trail she leaves now that he's adjusted a bit more to the light from the ship.]

You certainly sound sincere. [Said not unkindly, with a hint of a question.] However, saying things like that, someone might mistake it for a threat. A bit inconsistent with your rather generous offer.

[Elsa offers a small smile at his words and nods, knowing well how her words sounded.]

It's not a threat, but a warning. I'm afraid that I'm not someone around whom... Anyone would be safe. Regardless of my intentions.

[She gestures to the trail she leaves as she moves as she speaks.]

As much as I regret it, the only help I may offer is little and temporal. My powers are something that can't be controlled, and they are dangerous. I do not wish to cause anyone any harm. Please, accept my apologies for it.

[She inclines herself softly to accompany her words and accentuate the apology.]

Where I come from, when one starts conjuring the elements from thin air, they're usually practiced enough to know how to stop. [A little more condescending than he should probably be, talking to what appears to be a magic-user. He's visibly tensed up in the case of needing to flee, but really, where would he go?

Plus, now he's just curious.]

You're on a ship, so there must be a crew. Surely you have control enough that they all haven't already perished?

*Don't mind Adol, he's just blinking, wondering if one of Feena and Reah's people just ended up on the ship.*

Are you all right? *That seems to be all Adol can come up with for conversation after being startled by the man's appearance.*

I haven't been attacked yet, so I'd say I'm pretty fine.

Were you trying to flee from somewhere? *A cursory glance over the side of the ship reveals no other vessels. Did maybe this god get lost? Or was it just a man with wings?*

Flee? No. I was scouting for an island when the sun went down. But this ship the only solid landing I've seen, so...

[He spreads his arms out as if to say "and now here I am!" in the most unapologetic way possible.]

....he sounds like a fun person to play XD

I guess it's lucky you found us. We haven't sighted any new islands around here yet. *The man with the wings doesn't look like he's a part of a force and it's true there's no other ships around, so it could be he's telling the truth. He does look like a capable fighter though.*

I'll have to talk to the captain, but I think there'd be room for you to spend the night on the ship.

[frowns] That's not necessary. I only need to borrow a perch until I can make the flight back the way I came. [NOT THAT HE ASKED TO but, y'know. He'll take the risk.

This supposed kindness is making him suspicious, though.]

So there's like 27 Fire Emblem games, right?

How are you going to be able to fly anywhere without light? Unless you can figure out where you're going by using constellations. *Adol is generally an easy going person to people unless he's treated poorly in response.*

like, fifty. ...okay maybe closer to 11.

I can't. But if I know which direction I came from, it's better than flying completely blind. I'm not staying here, and there's nothing else in this area of blasted ocean, so I don't have much of a choice.

[Not many people are nice by default to this guy, especially not humans. So he's just going to keep staring down at him warily. But still borrowing the mast.]
