Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for

high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

♦ Arrr, here be buried treasure, but not all that glitters is gold! Will ye be telling your mateys what ye found, or keeping it for yourselves?

A: [If you look to your right, you'll find a guy seemingly sleeping, not paying any mind to the fact that he's surrounded by water and he's most likely lost.

If you look close enough at his boat though, you'll see he's got a visibly pissed look on his face. Wait, are those oars moving by themselves?]

B: [The crew's arrived at a new island! Smell that adventure in the air. New towns and people to meet, wild beasts needing to be tamed... the problem being that a certain someone's refusing to leave the ship.]

Yeah... no. How's about you go and hang with the natives or bears or whatever the hell's down there. If there's anything worth my time, come back and tell me. [He's a rock star, he doesn't go exploring.]

C: [A gang of rival pirates are attacking! Not his problem, usually. Except that it's noisy as fuck out here, and when he came out to find out what was going on, one of the dudes tried to cut him. His hair stood up as he lifted the pirate up off of the ground, psychic powers at work. With a flick of his wrist, he flings him into a crowd of the pirate's crewmates, standing with a smirk on his face.]

Should've stayed back at your clubhouse. [It's a pirate ship, Todd.]

If you're staying put, I must as well, I suppose...

Remind me, why do you consider yourself a member of this crew again? You're quite adverse to being of use.
