See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!
♦ Arrr, here be buried treasure, but not all that glitters is gold! Will ye be telling your mateys what ye found, or keeping it for yourselves?

Could be more important den a simple ring.
[...And then he has an idea.]

[Breaking back into an island that is definitely not accepting visitors or their specific ship back right now considering all their ports are closed - thinking that whoever broke in is still there.]

[She's still looking at the ring. Very, very closely.]
Maybe there's just a bit of difference in the color. Like hex codes but... old... timey... stuff.

[That's his thinking voice. Because if - if - that was possible solution.... There had to be several deciding factors included.]
D'ya even t'ink dey have any kind o'numerical or alphabetical hex code here? Dat's a pretty tall order dere.

[Duh.]
There has to be a way to distinguish when you're buying or selling. The quality, the shine, the size, the vibrancy of color. All of those make every gem unique.
And people who are going to make jewelry with multiple pieces of the same stone need a way to rate the color. For a consistent look.
[Or.]
It might even be the difference in color between them and real sapphires that's the code.
