♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

♦ Arrr, here be buried treasure, but not all that glitters is gold! Will ye be telling your mateys what ye found, or keeping it for yourselves?

"Man, you sure are whiner." Vanitas watched the man from his perch a top a wall. He hated whiners, they reminded him of Ventus. "Do you have to be so loud while you whine?"

Yeah, yeah I see. Step aside.

[Taps the chest with his keyblade at it and unlocks it. He then turns away, because he's not really interested in the treasure.]

"Do you have to be so ugly, and still be in my line of sight? Choose one, or choose the other. Why did you even have to call my attention? Now I have to remember that face all day."

He ain't got time for your sass, Vanny.

"Who the fuck are you?"

Vanitas raises an eyebrow. He doesn't really care about his looks, so he's just amused by the idiot. "Heh, better my face than yours." He leaps down and looks over at the man. "You were whining so loud, I just wanted you to shut up."

He cracks his neck. "Who I am isn't important. So long as you shut up."

"Yeah, there's a problem with that request."

"Oh, am I gonna have to make you shut up?" He held out his hand and summoned his keyblade, Void Gear, into his hand. "Because I have no trouble with that."

"...Pffft. PFFFFFFFFFFFTTT. Kuh-AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

That was it. He fell against the side of a building, laughing as hard as he could. Uncontrollably. After months in a dank science dungeon, being experimented on, the absurdity of it was just too jarring.

"What is...what is even...What is that? Is your weapon a giant, stupid-lookin'...I don't even know what it is! Seriously?"

"Keyblade," Vanitas said grinning. He like to battle, and this moron was brave enough to laugh. "Though it's more like a club." Then he lunged at that the laughing man.

"Ha ha ha, but come on, i-AH!"

Akira leaps up, springing off from the nearby wall and speeding over the other boy's head. He hits the ground and immediately leaps to another roof.

"Whoa, take it easy! What's your friggin' problem?!"

Lemme take y' out for dinner, drinks, an' dancin' sometime later when y' ain't all confused an' lookin' t' get back with yer crew right 'way, yeah?

"You insulted my weapon," Vanitas explained blandly, though he still has a bit of a smirk on his face. "To laugh at one of the most powerful weapons in existence means you're strong, right?"

He knows he's stretching, but he really just wants to fight. "Also, I wanted you to stop whining."

"No, it means it's a dumb-lookin' weapon. I don't care if it split a planet in half, that doesn't make it NOT look dumb," he said, crossing his arms, "And I wasn't whinin', I was makin' a reflective assessment of the situation."

Vanitas frowns. He thinks Void Gear is pretty cool looking.

"You were whining. I know whiners, you are one."

Sting was paying attention, but he it was hard when he was motion sick. While Akira was fishing, Sting was leaning over the rails, trying not to loose what little lunch he managed to eat.

"Yeah, but those crews won though shards before we even got here. What right do we have to take 'em away? I mean, other than started a war between crews."

"And I know pointlessly flesh pieces of garbage, and you're not only weildin' one, you're wearin' one," he said, sticking his tongue out, "...Wait, where are you even from? Did you just get here, or what?"

"Stop chummin' the water!" he yelled, grabbing him by the back of his collar and holding him out over the side, "And stop gettin' it all over the side of the boat, you idiot! That smell carries when the wind changes! Besides, I don't mean a war, I mean a summit meeting."

Vanitas shrugged, banishing his keyblade, and looked over at the man, "I died."

Honestly, he didn't know how he got here, nor did he really care, but it would be fun to see the reaction that got out of him.

"I hardly ever get on the side of the boat!" Sting groused. He hardly ever actually lost his lunch. He just felt like ninety percent of the time. Besides, better on the side then on the deck, right?

"Ugh, anyways, they tried that before I got here. Didn't go so well."

"Well, that happens," he said, crossing his arms and sitting on the edge of the roof, "You ain't the only one."

Akira pulled his arm back, letting him sit on the side-railing, "They did? What happened?"

That wasn't the response he expected. Interesting. He cocked his head. "Really?"

"Apparently a clash of egos, from what I understood."

"Why am I not surprised? It's always a handful of whackos that ruin this for everyone."

"Plenty of people come here after they die. Davy Jones isn't really all that picky about the circumstance, he just makes it work."

[Any excitement Titus would have had for the use of a mysterious Magic Tool is dulled by the sheer rudeness of its owner. He's not used to being treated coldly for no reason and it rankles. He can understand someone being rude because they dislike his station or his personality, seeing as he's felt that way himself, but he barely even knows this other boy. It makes no sense and he doesn't like it.

It dulls his enthusiasm for the chest a bit, but he still tugs at the lid. He wants to see what's inside, after all. That hasn't changed. He's just...not really feeling it as much anymore.]

There's no need to be rude. Didn't anyone teach you manners?
