Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

♦ Arrr, here be buried treasure, but not all that glitters is gold! Will ye be telling your mateys what ye found, or keeping it for yourselves?

"Do you mean that literally? As in planet?" he asked, raising an eyebrow, "You expect me to believe that I've been cast from one celestial body to another? Then how was my body healed? I was in a vastly different state, not long ago."

[whitedragon_abs]

He nods. "As far as I know. This is real different from Earthland, my world. No place like exists on our maps. As for how you were healed. Probably the work of Davy Jones. He's the one who brought us here."

[water_puppeteer]

"Davy Jones, then. So he's the one responsible for this insane situation. Why would he even bother with resurrecting a corpse?"

[whitedragon_abs]

"Again, no clue." He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "You look like you could use a drink. I was just heading to the tavern. Why don't you join me and we can be confused together."

[water_puppeteer]

"I prefer not to drink, I need my mind to remain as sharp as possible," he said, gazing out over some of the onlookers, "However, my throat is rather parched."

[whitedragon_abs]

Sting nods towards the tavern. "Thata way."

[water_puppeteer]

"And how am I suppose to pay for these service? I doubt the currency I had on me when I died is any good."

[whitedragon_abs]

"I'll buy your first drink," Sting said cheerfully. "And a meal too if you want. You can pay me back whenever. I doubt you eat as much as I do."
