Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

Oh?

[Now it was Kanata's turn to get a good look at Luffy for a bit there. And by a bit, I mean he's leaning over and invading his personal space to get a pretty nice whiff of his scent before backing off.]

Okay then! If that's how it is, then we may as well end up being rivals should you ever attain the title of Pirate King!

And I'm the Demon Dog King, Kanata! Overlord of the Netheruniverse!

Eh? Why not just be nakama instead? [You're pretty cool and have a tail that wags which is pretty awesome]

Do you know any tricks?

What's a nakama? Besides, isn't that being rivals with someone really being good friends with someone, but try endlessly hard to compete with each other and sometimes help each other out in a pinch? "No one is allow to defeat him BUT ME!" That sort of thing-- it made sense in the stories I've been told!

And as for tricks... well, I do know some fire magic and some ability boosting powers! Does that count?

Nakama is crew. [yep] And I've already got cool rivals and I don't need more but you can still be my rival and my crew since you're awesome. I definitely need a fire boosting ability power dog guy on my crew.

[he's already decided this]

Wait, there are OTHER rivals here?! W-What are their names?! This is pretty important information here! If there are other rivals to beat, we gotta get right on that to claim our place at the top here!

Hmm. Well I guess a lot of people are after the gem thing... but right now the old cool hat guy, and fish-butt and Ace but he'll be really hard to beat.

[demondogking]

Old cool hat guy, a fish butt, and Ace? Alright! I'll be sure to take them all on and find whatever this gem thing is all about! The tougher the enemies are, the better the victory will be!

It's you and me taking on everything else, Monkey! Let's make it a story that EVERYONE will remember-- [Pausing because oh right, this place is kinda not home anymore.] Well, everyone in this place to remember who we are and what we are capable of doing!
