Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

That depends. What is Earth to you? [Grell is standing not that far away, watching this person just...staring out at the ocean a if it's so foreign to her. Maybe even a site to behold after so long.

Either way, it was amusing.]

A myth.

[then sighing, she glances over at the person that had answered her, her eyebrow arching a little as she thought her answer over before waving a hand to dismiss the ocean.]

Or a very bad tale.

The bad tales are always the best ones, and hold the most truth, I find.

[Grell looks to the ocean, taking in the movements of the waves and the sounds they make.]

There are many a tale of the sea, but none are false, in this world. [Turns her attention to the other.] It merely depends on your level of belief.

Most tales are just silliness disguised as someone trying way too hard.

[the water was rather interesting. Elendira looked back at it, watching it move like it was alive.]

I doubt belief has anything to do with all that.

Those, as well~! [There was much to be said about children's nursery rhymes alone.]

It does, and doesn't, I supposed. Belief can be related to intellect, and from there, the possibilities are endless.

They say that about the sands.

[she was use to the sands and the shifting ways of the endless gaps between one small human town to the next. the creatures that bred in between - the worms in their endless exploring and the tomas.]

I always say that they just never found even a pinch of what hides beneath the surface.

I wouldn't know much about sands, besides the ones at a beach.
