Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! ♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[The Gas Man jumps into the air upon the sight of his rubber foe and floating in midair, like a cloud proceeds to rant at him from what he judged a safe distant.]

YOU STUPID, INSOLENT, IGNORANT BRAT, WHAT DID YOU JUST DO AFTER YOU GOT LUCKY AND HIT ME?!

[he has no idea who this guy is but that's how people sometimes act after he hit them so maybe he did or maybe he will or maybe it's all a mystery]

Are you really a cloud that ate a human fruit?

NO, YOU IGNORAMUS! WHERE ARE WE?! One minute ago, we were fight on Punk Hazard and in the next, we're on an island I never seen before. HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?

[he picks his nose idly] It wasn't me, it was that annoying ghost guy. He wants us to look for a shard thing.

[pulls out a booger, examines it a moment and absently flicks it in the direction of the fart guy]

Anyway you should probably join a crew and help look for it.
