See you during the application round!
♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?
♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!
♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!
♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!
♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

But they did have their fair share of weird stuff around here.
"Good idea." He picked up a decently sized rock and tossed it into the water with a *kerplunk*, then stood to wait, eyebrows raised.
"Seems all right to me..."

He wouldn't have been near as concerned if he'd been alone, perhaps, but thinking about other people was just natural. Even if it wasn't the other person he might worry the most about, Mikoshiba was his captain, and that meant something. Aiichiro tugged off the training outfit he was still wearing from home, but instead of diving in, he went to the edge of the rocks first, looking down and checking to make sure there wasn't anything in the way of diving.
"It looks all right I guess..."
It wasn't fear, mind you, just sheer concern for the well-being of everyone involved.

Mikoshiba hopped and hobbled out of his pirate outfit, (because a pirate-y outfit is important for pirating, right?) revealing his swimsuit. He not-so-gracefully leaped into the water off the rocky ledge.

Still, now that someone else had taken the dive, he couldn't exactly wait forever. So he drew in a slow breath to steady himself and then followed, diving far more neatly from a spot a little ways down from where the captain had disappeared.
As soon as he hit the water, the familiar feeling of it relaxed him a little, and he moved back up to the surface slowly.

"Nothing wrong, here!" He leaned back to float on his back and closed his eyes. He should be practicing, but... Just a little break!

"I didn't see anything."
Why he was bothering reporting to someone who wasn't concerned, he wasn't sure. Either way, it seemed only natural to do so.
Then, of course, he started swimming slow circles around the floating figure of Mikoshiba.
"Shouldn't you at least swim a little, captain?"
