[And she realizes that she's just made a spectacle of herself, and Kon, and that people are staring.]

Ooh, I'm sorry! I promise we'll - we'll -

[Grabs Kon by the arm and hauls him along with her, because there is just too much attention near the fountain. When they're about a block away, and there are a few less people, she lets him go to face him, glaring.]

How do you know about Ed?

Because FMA is a Square Enix property and there's a lot of cross-promotion and it was a huge thing with girls for a long time and I've seen pictures of him I wish I could unsee but it WASN'T LIKE I WAS LOOKING FOR THEM they were just there when I searched for pictures of oh God I have to stop talking or you're going to hit me with a wrench. [He slams both hands over his mouth and waits for death.]

[hands4healing]

[There's one thing Winry gets out of this. One. Thing.]

What pictures of Ed that girls have?!

[pleasetakeit]

[He keeps both hands over his mouth and shakes his head vehemently. She must never know. She must never ever know. Unfortunately, he's way too easy to stare down. Maybe he can talk her out of it?]

N-nevermind! Nevermind that! Forget I said it! It's nothing important! It's not that big a thing anymore! They're all into that basketball thing now so they've probably forgotten all about it!

[hands4healing]

[Oh, no, Kon, you don't get away that easy. You know those images of the giant owl and the mouse? Yes, you are that mouse.]

What. Pictures. Those. Girls. Have?

I mean it's not like they're photos just pictures that they drew so it's not like they know him or anything so it's not really anything you have to worry about, right? Right? So you don't have to be angry or hurt me. ...right?

[hands4healing]

I'm not angry at you! I want to know who these girls are with the pictures of Ed!

[pleasetakeit]

[He's pretty sure she's angry at him. He's angry at him. Why can't he keep his big mouth shut?]

I--I don't know who they are either, you know, so...I mean...I just saw the pictures on the internet but you don't know what the internet is so it's not like you know what that means...

[hands4healing]

[But she's not mad at you! She's mad at these other girls, who've seen - or imagined they'd seen - Ed naked! Or worse! Geeze!]

So, you've seen this pictures, but you don't know who has them?

[What has Ed gotten himself into, anyway?]

That's about it, yeah...[He's looking at everything but her because he doesn't think he can handle whatever look is on her face.]

I-it's really not anything to worry about, so...I mean, if you were in my world, maybe things would be weird, but we're in Pirate Land and there's no internet...

[hands4healing]

Tch!

[Winry folds her arms, looking annoyed, but less scary.]

I'll just have to talk to Ed about this!

[pleasetakeit]

Nononononono! He has nothing to do with it! It's not his fault! [He can just imagine the pain poor Ed would be put through. Poor, unknowing Ed. Ed, who should never know what Kon has seen.] Don't hit him with a wrench!

[hands4healing]

I'm not blaming Ed! He's

[Clueless.]

an idiot, but I know he wouldn't be posing for some girls.

[pleasetakeit]

Well, no...he didn't pose, exactly. They kinda used their imaginations and drew-- SHUTTING UP NOW. [He covers his mouth again.]

[hands4healing]

Drew what?

[Because seriously, Kon, you need to work on that poker face.]

[pleasetakeit]

[Kon has no poker face. None. Right now it looks like he's going to cry.]

P-pictures...c-comics...probably some merchandise to sell at Comiket I DON'T KNOW IT'S NOT MY THING OKAY I JUST WAS LOOKING FOR PICTURES OF...of...things...so it's not like I know much--ANYTHING about it or anything.

[hands4healing]

[Well, if he's going to cry about it, she'll take pity on him.]

[Sighs.]

All right, all right, calm down. It's not your fault you saw...whatever you saw.

[pleasetakeit]

[He nods miserably, though he knows that's not exactly true. He feels worse about opening his big mouth and blabbing about it in front of Winry, though.]

Right, right...that's just how the internet is. Full of...things.

[She's really being quite reasonable about the whole thing, which he greatly appreciates. He can only imagine what Ecarlate would have done. It would have involved a withering glare that made him feel two feet tall at the very least.]

[hands4healing]

It sounds like a bunch of gossip. [And Winry's dealt with gossip all her life.] People like to talk, and get ideas about people they don't know!

[pleasetakeit]

[Kon laughs nervously. He hadn't meant that at all, but if that's what she wants to think he was talking about, all the better!]

R-right! And then you end up with weird nicknames and a reputation you don't want and it's all such a hassle!

[hands4healing]

[That...didn't sound quite right, though.]

What do you mean, nicknames and a reputation?

[pleasetakeit]

[He waves his hands frantically.]

Just speaking from personal experience! Not important anyway because I've learned my lesson about stuff like that (except the fact that I'm still talking shows that I kind of haven't) and it's not going to happen here! I'm just plaaaain old Kon!

[hands4healing]

[Personal experience? Well, you're loud enough...]

All right...it's not important. [Except she still needs to talk to Ed about all this. Then again. Maybe not.]
