Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[He rubs the back of his neck, quickly assessing a way to change the subject.

Because really, setting out to sea by oneself was probably not high up on his best ideas list.

And while not much one for small talk, it's not like he has many choices on things to do here.]

[Renge had removed a handkerchief from her sleeve and she started to dab it on her eyes. They could be fake tears or they could not, you can never be too sure with Renge.]

[Marvelous did not seem to be overly convinced, and almost turned to walk off.

...before he realized he'd have nowhere to really walk off to.

Scrunching up his face and kicking some sand, he crossed his arms and glanced at her.]

Just what does that have to do with anything?

Don't you understand that I was left just because of what I enjoy.

[She puts her handkerchief away for now anyway, it was kind of upsetting to be left in the first place to fend for oneself when they had little to know idea how to. It's quite scary.]

And now I'm left here to starve all because I enjoy the occasional romance.

[Marvelous raises an eyebrow.

Yes, it's not a common thing after all, but sometimes the thought of what a man could do to a young lady, or even better another man is simply marvellous.

[The response only comes out as a bit of a grunt as he scans the path before him for anything that could possibly get him out of this whole mess.]
