Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[ Somebody looks bored. Oh so very bored.

Nobody told her sailing was going to be boring. In fact, Mana made it sound like nothing but adventures and swashbuckling.... whatever swashbuckling was.

So she takes her entertainment wherever she can get it. ]

Is it ready yet?

...I find A + Regina the most amusing. 8D;

[As if on cue, Alice is pouring Regina her cup before handing it over to her.]

Certainly, but you must have patience for these sorts of things. They can't be rushed.

I've been patient. [ She only complained, like, twice the entire time, okay?

And it took a really long time!!

Anyway, Regina pouts at that, until she gets her cup- ]

[ -at which point the pout immediately disappears.

She has the cup in her hand, and before Alice can even say a word, she has it to her mouth and proceeds to chug down the first bit like it's iced tea or soda or something- ]

[ Yeah Regina is dropping the entire cup and flying around looking for something cool to wash that down with oh dear lord it burns ]

[ And Alice is actually startled a bit, which is impressive enough, as she gasps... and then stifles a small giggle. ]

It ... is going to be rather hot starting out.

[ She blows on her own cup of tea as if to accentuate this a bit. ]

But there is some unheated water on the counter.
