Welcome to your monthly Test Drive for high_seas! Here is where new players can test out their characters' voices, old players can try out new muses, and everyone can help each other get some threads for their applications! Feel free to use one of the prompts below, or come up with something on your own! Comment around, have fun, and remember that any CR formed here does not carry over to the game!

♦ So you're new to this world and have just woken up in the Town Square. How do you react? What do you do?

♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

[LUKA WHY ARE YOU SURPRISED?! Anyway, she turns towards Alice]

Well, they're-

[an explosion rocks the ship, they've been hit on the starboard side]

... Yeah, pretty much!

[Alice nods, and takes off suddenly in the direction of where the cannon blast struck.]

Hopefully this won't be long, then!

... eh?! What are you doing?! You need to get where it's safe, kid!

[grumbling to herself, she took off after Alice. This hero thing may be her life now, but it's still aggravating as hell sometimes]

[Alice inevitably reaches the general vicinity of where the explosions had been coming from, and wastes little time then in triggering the device I'm her hands.]

L - O - V - E

[Swiping the above letters on the phone, light engulfs the girl and transforms her into Cure Rosetta. She then tosses out her hand and summons another device that looks suspiciously like a collapsed bow from seemingly thin air.

And she ... just stands there, as if waiting for another attack to come.]

[Luka nearly trips as she forces herself to a halt, eyes widening at Alice's transformation. That was... unexpected. And yet, no spandex-looking material involved at all...]

I really should've known...

[of course, as she said this, another volley of cannon blasts was fired at the ship]

Rosetta Reflection!

[With the newly summoned object held out before here, a large clover-shaped barrier suddenly springs up in front of her... And right into a few cannon balls' paths.]

[the cannonballs struck against the barriers, exploding but by no means providing any less of a kick back against them]

... not too shabby kid, I have to admit. I'm kind of impressed.

[Rosetta slides back a short ways, but is others wise fine. She smiles back at Luka.]

Everyone needs to do their part, right? This is mine!

Heh, I see... then I guess this is mine!

[Luka spun around to face an oncoming group of pirates... all of them charging at the pair of them. Luka strode forward confidently, only taking out a cellphone like device of her own, which she quickly inserted a key into]

GOKAI CHANGE!

[one flash of light, and several flying roman numerals later, Luka was now covered in a full body yellow and black outfit. She charged forward into the thick of the pirates, brandishing her saber and gun in quick succession]
