♦ You're lost at sea. Maybe you got separated from your crew. Or perhaps you're on an abandoned island. You need help!

♦ "Pirates off the starboard bow!" It's an enemy ship! Attack!!

♦ You and your crew are hanging out on your ship. Just another day at sea!

♦ "LAND, HO!" Hey look, a new island! How about you go explore it? Tell us what you find!

...it's not easy. From what we've been told, we need to collect all the shards of this magical ruby and wish our way back home.

[But if Allegro listens closely, he'll notice she sounds a bit skeptical of it all.]

...what, just like that? That sounds too good to be true! Has anyone found it?

Someone found one shard.

...just a million more to go, according to Scurvey Dog.

I wish I was. But as far as we know that's our only option.

[Voice]

I'm soooo not liking those odds.

Neither am I. And the worst part is they could be anywhere...

[...yeah okay that's enough of that.]

Anyway, we'll worry about that later. Where are you?

[Voice]

I wish I knew! The ship I was on left me behind because they said I was annoying! Can you believe that?!

[Voice]

[All the sarcasm.]

...seriously? You have no idea?

[Voice]

Hey, if I knew then I would say as much, wouldn't I???

[Voice]

Can you ask around? I won't be able to ask the captain to pick you up if I don't know where you are.

[Voice]

I would if there was anyone around! I can seriously see straight to the other side of this island just by standing on tip-toe!

[Voice]

So you're on a really small island...

[Well that's...helpful?]

Are there any landmarks?

[Voice]

There's...two palm trees that are kinda bent over towards each other. And a bunch of rocks here and there. Lotta sand.

[Voice]

Like rock rocks or like boulder rocks? If I can't see them from the ship that's not very helpful.

[Voice]

I don't know! Both! I'm not even sure you could see 'em unless you were even on the island!

...I'm never going to get off this thing alive, am I?! Oh no, Zozo, what am I going to do?!?!!

[Voice]

Stop complaining.

[Deadpan.]

Are there any islands in the distance?

[Voice]

-islands? Including the one I'm standing on? Um...

Yyyyyyes! No. I think that's a sandbar- if a sandbar's what I'm thinking one should look like, anyway.

Uuuh, other than that, I'm just seeing a whole lot of blue.

[Voice]

[Dammit Allegro...]

Can you at least make some sort of a signal? Something we can see from the ship?

[Voice]

[Hey, he can't help it if there's nothing for him to work with!]

Oh! Good idea! Let's see.... What if I light a palm tree on fire?

[Voice]

[The fact that he got himself in this mess is more than enough reason to blame him.]

You'll probably set the island on fire and die.

...smoke signal's a good idea, though.

[Voice]

-wha, you think so? Sand doesn't burn, does it?

Okay, smoke signal- got it! I just have to figure out how to make one.

[Voice]

[Does she have to do everything...]

Break some bark off and burn it. Use one of the palm tree leaves to fan the flames. Douse it in wet sand when you're done with it and make sure it's out. If you see a ship try to get its attention, even if it's not ours. I'll probably have to pay to get you back if we don't find you first, but it's not like I need money anyway.

Oh. And try not to annoy the crew that finds you, okay?
